Starting with the tail itself, I was ok with it. I ordered this for my daughter and was fine with it but not happy. It was way too tall, but fit everywhere else, except the monofin. The pockets on the fin for your feet were absurdly small, but my daughter has small feet so it fit her. The design on the tail was ok. It looked a bit cheap and printed, but not terrible. The tail broke on the first use, but with a sturdy stitch, has been great ever since. The bakini is another story. The top was two sizes too big, and the bottoms look like they were made for an aliens body. I would never recommend the swimsuit. The shipping was torture. It took two months, and Amazon was not at all accurate on the arrival date. For the price, it’s not bad, but I definitely wish I spent ten more bucks for a higher quality tail.

The tail was great it came fast, and it’s pretty but the problem was the top and bottom are for little girls they are so small and not really stretchable. Overall the tail is good but you have to stretch the monofin out a lot.🙄 ALSO I FORGOT was that the tail was see through. While you are swimming the monofin has a hole and you feet keep getting stuck but that isnt really a promblem for me and the shipping doesnt take to long mine came very fast

I ordered down a size for my daughter and it was still a little big. I was so disappointed when she got a rash on her ankles from the way they go into the fin. It’s also pretty difficult to get the actual HARD plastic fin in the end of the mermaid tail. And the fabric is very cheap. She wore it one time and the color came off and turned black. I was hoping for a better quality for the price.

My 7 year old daughter is tall, and generally wears size 12/14 clothes. That was the size I ordered and it fit. Note there will be additional fabric as it could rip or pull off the fin section without some extra room to move around.

My grand-daughter has worn this twice in the pool and each time my mom has had to sew a seam. The thread is cheap and the material seems to rip easily. I did buy another one from another company that holds up a lot better.

I like the product, after a year of my daughter begging me to get her one. The top isn’t really made for a little girl, but it puts the whole mermaid fantasy together that she loved. The only issue I had was that my daughter basically shredded the material on the bottom of the pool after the first use. I don’t think it’s something that is necessarily avoidable for those of you with younger, active kiddos. I did like the product, I just wish it had lasted my daughter longer for the price I paid.

So, this tail bleeds it’s color in the water. What’s also annoying is that the bleeding color formed a line alone the material where the fin sits. It looks horrible, old and stained black through the pretty green. Grrrrrrr
