Well, I've had this for a few years now & it hasn't let me down yet. Some of the negative reviews did make me worry a little, but once I received it and started using it, those worries quickly vanished! I think as long as you keep the pods clean and dry, don't overfill, and experiment with the different grind settings, you'll soon be enjoying it. I can't speak for the electrical issues some have had. All I can suggest is to follow the manual to the word, if it still acts up, make sure you contact Amazon as well as customer support, and don't stop until you get a resolution. Anyway, I've really enjoyed using this for the past few years and still do to this day. I've actually been after the Salt & Pepper cannons for a while now, but every time I use this Mill, I realise I don't need to spend more money for something my Cuisinart does perfectly every time I use it.

Money was no object so I literally went for the most expensive offering I could find. They had them in Costco a while back so assumed they must be good as the buyers at Costco are great and generally never sell rubbish. Anyhow this looked great and felt quality so i filled it with pink hymalaian rock salt and pepper corns and found it jamed immediately. Altered the coarseness settings both ends in the hope it would un jam but nothing so assumed it needed a charge. Turns out even after a full charge this thing couldn't crush a grape. Totally pathetic internal engineering in what could be the best product in it class. Very disappointing. Got a second one to make sure I didn't have a duffer but the same issue. The motor is just no where near powerfull enough. Got a cheaper pair that don't look as good and are separate grinders and they are incredibly powerful.

It is expensive for a grinder but was a present for my husband who likes gadgets and he was very pleased with it and we both enjoy using it. Simple and effective. My one quibble is that if you use the plastic measure/lid on the bottom to catch bits when it is on the table, it leaves the workings exposed on the top, I bought another lid for under a £1 (but expensive postage) which means when the unit is left on the table or side in the kitchen (when not on charging unit), it looks complete. I think two plastic lids could be provided for the price or even a smarter metal one which would finish it off better!

Stylish good battery life, only issue you have is visitors try to twist to dispense pepper or salt which causes chambers to open an drop contents, rather than pressing button to operate. Once used to no problem. Good bringing quality.

Really pleased with this for what I paid. It showed up on a deals site for £9.99 and grabbed one, firstly the frosted pearl is a light silver, I was expecting a white pearl but pleasantly surprised it's silver. I'd have preferred the stainless steel one but that was 5x the price. It did initially jam on the salt but after adjusting the grind size to slightly larger it's never jammed since. Make sure to put the the one you use the most in the bottom as the top has a cap to avoid anything getting in the top so in our case we have the salt on the bottom and pepper in the top. My only niggle is the dock can be a little fiddly sometimes and would be better with magnetic guiding pins but it's functional and I'm happy with it. The shows red when charging and changes to blue when fully charged.

I bought this to replace two battery ones, they still work but use 6 batteries each. This one has good and bad reviews, I decided to try it, and wanted the stainless steel one although it cost more. Straight out of the box when I pressed the button I heard it and saw it working just briefly, that was the only time it worked sadly. I read the instructions, hand washed the containers and air dried them, filled both ends (very easy to fill) assembled and put it on to charge overnight (charge for 12 hours the instructions say). Then I unplugged it, although the instructions advise to keep it plugged in. I don't need to use it often, mostly when I have family visiting. A couple of days later I decided to try it, it didn't do anything. I plugged the stand back in and put it on, red light. Let it charge again to green, tried it - nothing, no sound or action. Then every time I took it off the charging stand, green light shining, it not only didn't do anything but as soon as it was returned to the stand the light changed to red. It isn't holding any charge at all. I even tried shaking it in case it had jammed, even though it hasn't ground anything or made a sound since I filled and charged it, still nothing at all. I am going to return it and get my £44 back, I didn't want to talk to Cuisinart first as suggested. I will not purchase another one and I can't recommend it.

I was wanting to buy an electric salt and pepper mill and as always I had a look at reviews on google about which one would be best and this little number popped up on a number of sites so I thought I would purchase it to give it a try. My family really enjoy using this! We used to use a normal salt and pepper shaker, however, this is what we all use now for cooking and for when meals are plated. Don't be put off by the price as you can tell it is a good quality product. The feel of it is nice and smooth and It isn't heavy to hold so is easy on the hand/wrist. The charge lasts a long time too which is a bonus! You can set the coarseness of the salt and pepper individually which I like as some people might prefer finer seasoning. I have seen other reviewed about bits of salt and pepper getting stuck in the mechanics of it which causes it to break - I would have to disagree with these reviews as this is something which I haven't encountered. I suspect this has happened due to it being overfilled by the user. With this being said, it has a good capacity for the salt and pepper which means you would probably fill it once a week/fortnight at a push. Thank you for a great product!

Die Idee von dem Gerät ist gut und es sieht wertig aus. Problem ist allerdings das der Motor zu schwach ist und sogar bei vollgeladenem Akku die Mühle manchmal einfach steht. Der 220V Anschluß ist ein englischer Stecker und man braucht einen Adapter auf EU-Stecker. Fazit: In meinen Augen das Geld nicht wert.

Leider war die Mühle mit einem Kabel mit falschen Stecker das nicht in unsere Steckdosen passt, Also nicht für Deutschland gedacht

I am rather unhappy with this purchase, when i got it in June I tried it out and it worked well so I set it in its home base to fully recharge. As I still had some salt and pepper in my old (IKEA) devises I used those for the first 2 -3 weeks after which I started using the new machine and now after using it just a few weeks one side already does not grind any more. At first i thought is was the salt I was using so I changed that but it still does not work ! I am not sure if there is still any warranty on this product , kindly let me know. Thanks, Ido Bakker

I was sick of paying good money for battery-operated grinders that jammed all the time, and also having to fight with the batteries. One or two would fall out while putting the last battery in and it was very difficult to line them up. I searched online and found this one. It's well worth the money and grinds beautifully. No more wasting money on the others.
