Model 403 - Tomahawk Collapsible Turtle Trap

Was hard to figure out how to set it up and adjust. I did catch a few turtles but I loose the bait 90% of the time. This is a $35 trap, not worth what I paid.

I ordered it, I got it, it works, what more could I ask for...Once the rust sets in it will not collapse...

Trap is just what I wanted. The company I ordered from is crappy.

Purchased this trap. It arrived 4 days sooner than promised. Had been trying for weeks to catch a turtle living under our boat dock ( don't want to swim with him and he is eating all our fish) using homemade traps. Trap was easy to put together, just pops up. Put it in and in less than 24 hours we caught a 50# snapper but he is not the one we had seen in the past so we have re set it and are going for number 2. Used preserved shad bait purchased at Walmart. Only thing that would make it better is if there was a small door on the end where you put the bait in so you could reach in and tie the bait easier.

I just Have a question, can this trap catch painted turtles. And so on like that? or just Snapping turtles. or both?
