Bamboo Cutting Boards - Set of 3

I bought these cutting boards nearly 2 years ago, but I figured it was time for a review because one of them recently is no longer in use. When I first got these cutting boards, I liked them a lot. They looked nice in the kitchen and generally did what I needed them too. It was a little annoying at first that I had to apply cutting board oil to them so frequently. But I stopped doing that probably a year ago out of laziness. As a result, they do look a bit dry which doesn't really bother me, but I have noticed that a strand of wood is lifting up from one of the boards. The bigger issue, however, has been that the largest cutting board is now bent. It doesn't sit flat on a counter or other flat surface. So when I go to cut something, the board shifts around a lot which is both not functional and pretty dangerous. I'm not sure what the shelf life of cutting boards is supposed to be, so I'll give this product 3 stars for lasting this long but also because they seem to be wearing down now.

Sometimes you really just don't need the BIG heavy cutting board. These are a nice assortment for when you have smaller, less in tense jobs like cutting cheese or just chopping up some quick garlic. One of the handles has split already though so I'm not sure about overall quality control but I do like them very much. They've also made nice serving trays for cheese & cracker spreads!

Worst bamboo board - fusing of the board came off within 2-3 uses. Granted it is a cheap alternative, yet it is a very poor quality. I'm disappointed that it is selling as #1 best seller on Amazon - I hope the manufacturer would take care of quality. See picture enclosed.

I have been using these for nearly 5 months now and so far, so good. Last time I owned bamboo cutting boards I made the mistake of regularly putting them in the dishwasher and they fell apart after a year or so. So they must be hand washed only which is fine with me but they are easy to clean under the tap. Only time will tell so check back with me in another year

I did a lot of homework before buying it and was convinced with the positive reviews. Nevertheless, right after the first wash, I saw bamboo threads are coming off the corners. Could not hold even the first chopping and scratches were visible all over the board. I doubt whether this board would be long lasting. Didn't want to be too critical but it made me unhappy right after the first use. Would not recommend. Learned the lesson to spend in a genuine, trusted brand and pay a little bit more rather than wastefully researching, with all time and energy, on mid-price ones like this.

Decent cutting boards, but I don't think they will last very long. The middle sized board arrived with a hairline crack down the center, it has since broken in half. The larger one looks to be developing a center line crack as well, so I doubt it will make it too much longer. The smallest board is still looking good, however it is also the least used of the bunch. Will probably have to order replacements soon, and will likely go with a different vendor.

I am really happy with these cutting boards. I have had them now for sometime and they still very durable and smooth. I like them! I do have to say though I am expecting to replace the ones I have every year but I'll probably order these again.

Boards a pretty good. I wish the big one was a bit bigger. However, they look nice and do their job. Do not put them through the dishwasher as it states. My roommate did it to mine and the handle cracked. They are a little difficult to wash if you wait so I recommend washing immediately after cutting.
