A fantastic crib and changer at a fantastic price
This was very easy for my husband to assemble and looks just as beautiful as in the photo. The espresso color matches our black-brown wooden furniture perfectly; it's a wonderful addition to our bedroom, and all the storage space it comes with (drawers in the front of the changer and shelving in the back) means not having to use any closet or dresser space for baby's things, and still having room for toys! The crib itself is very sturdy, but the changing table unfortunately won't support more than about 35 lbs of weight. Hopefully by then the little one is potty-trained anyway, but we're still going to err on the side of caution and stop using the top part of the storage compartment as a changer before then. The other issue we had with the changing station is that, as other reviewers have mentioned, the changing pad that comes with the crib is very hard and unpleasant, but it is very difficult to find a different pad to replace it that will actually fit on the changing table. Our solution was to simply "make" the Summer Infant Contoured Changing Pad (which I highly recommend -- it is very squishy and the covers are very soft and come in loads of colors) fit. With the bottom of the changing pad lined up with the bottom of the changing table (that little gap is too small for a changing pad to squish out of), we pushed the Summer Infant changing pad down so it was lying on the bottom of the changing table, which leaves about five inches extra in length curving upwards along the top. The result is basically a little elevation for the little one's head, like a gentle pillow. This works just fine for me, since I wasn't enthusiastic about baby potentially hitting his head on the bars in the back, and it still looks great. Overall these are such minor complaints compared to how awesome this crib is overall. You really can't beat the price for getting four children's beds, a dresser, a bookshelf, and a changing table all in one, especially with the quality with which it was designed. I spent months shopping around for just the right crib at just the right price and I am very, very happy with the result.

holy smokes
Well let me be the first to say that this crib combo is well built the finish is really nice and is very sturdy came with a ton of hardware to put the thing together with and is well worth the money however on the pricey side it should last for years to come i haven't turned it into the other combinations of a bed but it should be just as nice anyone else expecting when they get it put together just put the extra parts in the closet like I did and in the future your set that was the good heres the bad it does take some time to assemble took me about 3hrs once I finally got it inside this thing is heavy and the directions are a little confusing you really need to pay attention on the little numbers on all the pieces because they don't interchange from both sides the manufacturer should make the instructions a little more detailed but if you are anyway mechanical inclined and have some basic hand tool knowledge you will be just fine assembling this thing that all being said we love it and is going to be all my little girl will need for a bed for years to come Update Has been over 2 years and this crib combo is still going strong my little girl loves it and has just started jumping on the bed I like it so much I bought my son the same thing just in a different color as of today 4/18/23 I just got the rails and a full size mattress and box springs for her to turn it into a full size and I found on Amazon some brackets that turn the full size rails into a queen that way am definitely going to get my money out of it Con And it's not really a con the spring for the kids mattress has left my little girl still sleepy when she gets up in the morning so box spring is a must

Absolutely perfect - so glad I chose it
My wife and I have a taste for darker wood, so our crib choices were already limited by color. After lots of choosing and debate, and trips to the local stores, we decided on this particular crib due to the excellent reviews, and I don't feel like I could have made a better decision. The crib did take about 10 days to arrive (Christmas season) and arrived undamaged. Some people have complained about the assembly, but I experienced no problems at all, and set the whole thing up myself without assistance in about 2.5 hours from start to finish. The key is to separate all of the pieces in the beginning and make sure you read the directions properly. If you mess up with a beginning piece and notice it at the end, it's not the manufacturers fault, so be patient and it will pay off. The components are all SOLID real wood. This is the key to me choosing it. For the price it was amazing to find solid wood. I was thrilled with the whole setup, and it truly is beautiful when assembled. The drawers are very easy to assemble, and fits perfectly in the track. I was concerned that these prefab drawers would not glide well or would not align when closed, but they did so flawlessly. The changing pad is thin and we plan on upgrading, but would work if you needed it to. Overall an absolutely wonderful experience and I would recommend this crib to anyone.

Good overall
Not sure what all of the negative reviews are about. The reviews made my desicion to purchase this very hard and conflicting. Finally we just risked it and purchased it. It urged me to leave a review on this product which I think is the first time I've ever left a review on Amazon. Item arrived very quickly. Theres no smell or damaged headboard. I must say the most impressive part was the amount of detail to the packaging. Every single individual piece wrapped in foam to prevent damage. The hardware in labeled packs which is easily referenced throughout the manual making assembly a breeze! It took about 3 hours to put together. Nothing complicated or difficult, just time consuming. The instructions are very detailed and easy to follow along. Overall, it seeks to be very sturdy and good quality. The only reason I didn't put 5 stars is because if you buy the espresso color, GOOD LUCK trying to get the matching dresser that it shows in the picture! The dresser referenced in the picture is the Storkcraft Avalon 6 drawer dresser. But when you go to the website it only comes in white or gray. I did call Storkcraft about this and they basically just said sorry we dont make it in that color anymore. Which is false advertising since they show it in their pictures. Ended up going with the Storkcraft Crescent 6 dresser since it was the closest match I could find and at least the wood grain and coloring would match. The only difference is it has cornered trim instead of the curvy style and the knobs look stainless instead of brown wood. I asked if I could buy just some extra knobs from them to swap them out to match in which they told me they don't sell parts which I found very odd and interesting? I will likely go buy some knobs myself and swap them out. Overall good experience so far with the product. Marketing and customer service could use some improvements.

Crib seems fine. Absolutely horrendous customer service.
This review is not necessarily about the crib. The crib probably works fine, as everyone else has said. The problem with this crib is the customer service Stork Craft provides. We ordered our crib and within 4-5 days we received it. So far so good. As my wife was putting it together, we noticed that part E, the back rail, did not have a hole drilled deep enough so that a round nut could fit in. So, we called customer service to fix this problem. Customer service told us to give them our email and that they would send us an email that we could forward to their email so that our part could be replaced. Great! Two days go by, no email. So we call them and they had the misspelled our email. Okay, whatever, so we fix that problem. Then we get an email 2 days later that tells us we need to take pictures of the defects in the parts and that they can only be JPEG files. Okay, whatever. My wife takes the pictures, and then emails the pictures. 3 days go by and we get another email telling us that we need to retake the pictures and label the parts corresponding to the instructions. Okay, we're getting mad, but we'll do it. So my wife takes the pictures we have, photoshops in the part numbers/letters, and then resend the pictures again. 3 days go by again. We get another email telling us that we need to send more pictures showing them the ENTIRE PART that is also labeled. At this point, we are beyond frustrated. GIVE US OUR PART. YOU MESSED UP DRILLING THE HOLE FOR OUR PART, SO WHY DO WE HAVE TO DO ALL THE LEG WORK? Does Stork Craft think we're trying to get a free piece of wood? What could we possibly use it for? A pre-finished piece of wood that already has holes drilled into it that can only be used for the crib they sent us? Horrible customer service. Abysmal. If this were Amazon customer service they wouldn't even ask questions, they would just send us the new part. So my wife calls them this time and tells them that we're not waiting another 2 days for another email to tell us to do anything else. They should have been up front about what they needed from us to begin with instead of leading us on for almost 2 weeks about what they need from us. It shouldn't be this difficult to get a replacement part from customer service. Just give us the piece of wood already! The people on the phone also seemed clueless and had no immediacy in addressing our problem. Worst customer service I have ever experienced. If your crib comes and it fits together like it should, GREAT. But if you have a single problem with their manufacturing, expect poor, lazy customer service and a lot of work ahead of you just to get the piece of wood or screw that wasn't made properly.

Use a measuring tape for the hardware
My wife chose this crib for our new son and I was tasked with assembling it. I read through some of the reviews and the mention of poor assembly instructions. I was expecting a terrible time during assembly, but figured that I'm mechanically inclined enough to figure it out. When it arrived, the UPS driver knocked on our door and asked me for a hand carrying it up the stairs. I don't blame him one bit, this crib is HEAVY! It's solid wood and has a lot of parts. I couldn't believe they expected the driver to carry it by himself. Once we got it inside our apartment, I knew that I would need about 3 hours to build it, so I saved the project for a Saturday morning. When Saturday came around, I was all jacked up on coffee and had John Wick 1 playing in the living room. First and foremost, unpacked each part and carefully layed them out to avoid scratches on the wood. Next, I needed a measuring tape for all of the screws and bolts. The instructions that came with the crib were actually very good in my opinion, better than the ones I found on the company website. Like others have mentioned, the screws and bolts are not labeled, but the measurements are included in the instructions. I was able to group all the hardware based on. These measurements and quickly determine what needed to go where. All said and done, I had it assembled in about 2.5 hours and it was well worth the effort. It's solid and looks great, my wife is very happy with it. We're planning on pair this with a Milgard double sided memory foam mattress (not the plastic crap one recommended with the purchase of this crib). We will probably upgrade the changing pad as well.
