Two of the sticks started to produce errors and I couldn't send it in for warranty since I lost my receipt. This ram worked out of the box with my AsRock Z77 Professional-M motherboard. By default it was set to DDR3 1333mhz 1.5v's. I had to manually set it to its rated DDR3 1600mhz. It wasn't an issue. I never had ram that was set to its rated speed since my old DDR 400 set from 2004 lol. The ram heatsinks really do an excellent job at cooling the ram, but they are huge! So if you are using a massive cooler like the Noctua D14, you might run into clearance problems. The only con about this ram is it's X.M.P profile. I don't know if its my motherboard reading it wrong or what, but its X.M.P profile sets the ram to DDR3 1556. Even CPU-Z reads its X.M.P profile as DDR3 1556. It's not that big of a deal since I was able to easily manually set the correct speeds, voltage, and timings, but it is weird. So beware, if you buy this kit, you might have to set the correct settings yourself. Overall, this is a great kit. No errors, fast, and the quality of the ram seems to be fantastic. I highly recommend it. Review: Great RAM, A Worthy Upgrade! - Upgraded to this 16gb ram combo, and my work productivity is the better for it. If you use your computer for memory intensive tasks such as video editing (which I do in small amounts, mainly short clips edited for family videos), do yourself a favor and make sure you have the maximum amount of ram your system allows. In my case, my mini-ITX machine that I put together over a year ago really struggled until I put these Corsair Vengeance sticks in. Now I can get projects done in no time! Prices for RAM have been fluctuating in the last couple years and I was fortunate to buy this at a time when the price was trending downward. If you are in the market, swoop in and get this while the deals are good. ## Features - Speed: 1600MHz ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B0085IWXB8 | | Additional Features | Lightweight | | Best Sellers Rank | #3,451 in Computer Memory | | Brand | Corsair | | Column Address Strobe Latency | 9 | | Compatible Devices | AMD Platforms, Intel | | Computer Memory Size | 16 GB | | Customer Reviews | 4.7 out of 5 stars 521 Reviews | | Data Transfer Rate | 1600 megabits_per_second | | Form Factor | Desktop | | Global Trade Identification Number | 00084359124433, 00843591024433, 05054484427872 | | Item Part Number | CMZ16GX3M2A1600C9 | | Item Weight | 0.09 kg | | Manufacturer | Corsair | | Memory Form Factor | DIMM | | Memory Generation | DDR3 | | Memory Speed | 1600 MHz | | Mfr Part Number | CMZ16GX3M2A1600C9 | | Model Name | Vengeance | | Model Number | CMZ16GX3M2A1600C9 | | Number of Items | 1 | | Number of Packs | 2 | | Number of Pins | 240 | | RAM Memory Technology | DDR3 | | RAM Size | 16 GB | | Special Feature | Lightweight | | UPC | 843591244336 033585589943 095036286351 611104400988 084359124433 012300174107 843591024433 012303266830 809385177686 | | Voltage | 1.5 volts | ## Product Details - **Brand:** Corsair - **Compatible Devices:** AMD Platforms, Intel - **Computer Memory Size:** 16 GB - **Memory Speed:** 1600 MHz - **RAM Memory Technology:** DDR3 ## Images ![Corsair CMZ16GX3M2A1600C9 Vengeance 16GB (2x8GB) DDR3 1600 MHz (PC3 12800) Desktop Memory 1.5V - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/61rOC2uNPuL.jpg) ![Corsair CMZ16GX3M2A1600C9 Vengeance 16GB (2x8GB) DDR3 1600 MHz (PC3 12800) Desktop Memory 1.5V - Image 2](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/51g9Pe5SsxL.jpg) ![Corsair CMZ16GX3M2A1600C9 Vengeance 16GB (2x8GB) DDR3 1600 MHz (PC3 12800) Desktop Memory 1.5V - Image 3](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/61EyRv9gOxL.jpg) ![Corsair CMZ16GX3M2A1600C9 Vengeance 16GB (2x8GB) DDR3 1600 MHz (PC3 12800) Desktop Memory 1.5V - Image 4](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/61ii-d2UBvL.jpg) ![Corsair CMZ16GX3M2A1600C9 Vengeance 16GB (2x8GB) DDR3 1600 MHz (PC3 12800) Desktop Memory 1.5V - Image 5](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/51x9ReNX4IL.jpg) ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great ram, X.M.P profile not set correctly *by F***N on September 27, 2012* I bought this ram to replace my old Gskill 4x4gb 16gb DDR3 1866mhz set I had. Sometimes things would hang. I just didn't have enough memory. So I purchased this memory: Corsair CMZ16GX3M2A1600C9 Vengeance 16GB (2x8GB) DDR3 1600 MHz (PC3 12800) ASIN: B0085IWXB8 After communicating with ASUS I put it in these memory slots along with my old 4 GB modules. DIMM_A1: 8 GB DIMM_A2: 4 GB DIMM_B1: 8 GB DIMM_B2: 4 GB Now I have 24 GB of memory and things work a little better. No more hangs running a Virtual Machine. Very happy with it. ## Frequently Bought Together - Corsair CMZ16GX3M2A1600C9 Vengeance 16GB (2x8GB) DDR3 1600 MHz (PC3 12800) Desktop Memory 1.5V - ARCTIC MX-4 (incl.
