She had a smaller wheeled unit. It didn't handle bumps and breaks in the road well while pushing her around. Most breaks required turning the unit around and pulling her over the break backwards. This R-4602-T-BD is a very good unit. It has the foot rests (pull or push down to use), a positive breaking system and comfortable for the passenger while pushing it or being pushed. The only disappointment is that the 8 inch wheels don't handle the pavement breaks and the like much better than the smaller wheeled units. Something in a rubber wheel with a wider stance would likely correct that annoying problem. One must be on guard when pushing someone in order not to jolt them or perhaps pitch them off the seat onto the pavement. The lady really likes the upgrade from the smaller wheeled unit to this one.
