This works on pain as soon as applied. I had bad abscess tooth and waiting to get it removed and I used this on my teeth. It is a bit pricey but it works. It tastes really weird but it lasts for a while. I would recommend using this for toothaches over the other ones or every over the gel and cream. Just dip stop in and apply.
