## Questions & Answers

**Q: Does anyone have a pdf of the datasheet that comes in the box? ours was damaged and i'd like to keep a record of it for future reference.**
A: I probably can find one, but it's worthless. I tried to figure it out (no dice) then took it to the local motor shop and they didn't understand it either. Typical chi-com gibberish with no explanation of what it does or how to hook it up. They said bring in the VFD and that thing and we can probably get it working...if it works at all.

**Q: Is the supply voltage (15v -30v) put in line with the current wires or are there separate terminals for that? The pictures dont show any?**
A: I use this to simulate a 4-20mA sensor(in my case a 24v current loop) 

I do not need a separate power supply as the 2 wire current loop is both the power supply and the signal path. 

I would consider a different device if you need to supply power to something. There are many other devices like this that use a power supply and send out voltage or current.

**Q: What is the display mode setting for the current loop simulator?**
A: This current loop simulator has 3 display modes: Actual Current/Percentage/Hertz.

This 4-20ma generator is live. You do not have to press the button to save the output. As you scroll up - so does the output. Is small form is great. I like that fact that this one is Loop Power! I will be buying more to add to my PLC Stand.

Broken upon arrival. No matter the direction of voltage input screen will not light up, when in line with my current input voltage drops to 3.2v. I also tested with my other sensors to be sure the card was wired correctly, this device is none functional at best.
