Durable
These worked great! Only had one break and that was after a year and some. The other one is still working great! I love these as a teacher I can adjust them enough to scan my badge and open my classroom door. It has a solid black appearance. It is very light weight and can be worn with anything as it is versatile! The stability of this item has lasted me over a year.

My go to reel
I’ve been buying these reels for years now and am very happy with them for my business. The primary reason I like them so much is the consistent quality of the pull of the cord. With my work, I have to take each reel and inspect it before moving on ( pulling the cord in/out at least 5-6 times) and out of every reel I’ve tried ( and my gosh, I’m talking tens of thousands) this reel has been the best. It’s quieter and smoother. The other check points of the snap and pinch clip have also been good. There are always a few in a batch that don’t pass inspection but overall this brand has impressed me, otherwise I wouldn’t keep coming back.

Good, basic, badge reel.
Bought these about 4-5 months ago and it’s still going strong. I bought these translucent 2-pack. Still feels solid. It’s an alligator clip which I prefer and the clip still doesn’t feel worn out at all. Neither does the spindle or the line it still looks pretty solid like the first day I bought it. If you’re looking for something basic this could be a good option.

I purchase this all the time
I use this product for all my.badge reels and they are great. Last long if you treat them well and can hold quite a bit of weight. Like the color, the clear does not show through the badge part.

Poor quality
The reel broke after using it for only 3 days. It cracked on the inside so the wire no longer retracts.

Not as advertised
It was supposed to have the alligator clamps but it only has the hooks. I brought these specifically for the alligator clamps. Will try to return them

Product is different form why was advertised. Not happy about that, it was supposed to be an alligator style clip.

This did not have an alligator clip, just the slide on clip that doesn't work for my purposes. Also, the reel didn't swivel. Returning.
