Great heater
This thing is great outside in the winter. As expected, not great in heavy wind. Don’t forget to take off the plastic cover on the heat shield, it is not the decorative color of the metal.

Toasty
Recently my husband and I went to a winter/Christmas event that was mainly outdoors, but they had the barn set up with tables and activities for kids. So this barn had very tall ceilings and they even had stalls and doors open. I was bracing myself as we went in thinking it was going to be no warmer than outside. Well, I was wrong. When we got into the 'open' barn, we saw they had numerous large heaters like this one set up throughout. I couldn't believe how comfortable the temperature was. As we were leaving, I told my husband I was buying one of those heaters. I have no idea what brand they had, but I chose this one because the color goes with our deck furniture and paint. We have ours on our deck and I prefer this heater over our small fire pit now. Aesthetically, its pleasing and the warmth the heater gives off is quite good. I even turn ours on when we have the hot tub going. A hot tub is awesome in the cold weather but getting out can be a total shock to the system. I have this near where our hot tub is located and it makes the transition bearable. In the huge barn we visited they had multiple, but I have found that for our home, one is all we need. I also prefer this outdoor heater over the open flame of the fire pit now because I feel like this is safer for animals and children to be around.

Portable Patio Heater with wheels and cover
The media could not be loaded. Got this for thanksgiving long weekend so we can enjoy with friends while sitting in the patio. There is a lot of wind in my backyard so it feels colder than the regular temperature in the evening or night.** Pro :* Easy to assemble. If you do regular DIY at your home it maximum take 40 -45 mins to assemble this. All assembly instructions are very clear in the booklet. You need a screwdriver for this which is not in box.* Lightweight to move. Even it comes with wheels but to turn it in a different direction it is easy to lift.* Its almost 8 feet long so easily moveable in covered patios or you want to move into different locations through some door.* Heat is equally distributed. We were seated around this on regular chairs and we feel warm. If it is very cold standing near to this will help. (Please don't take children near to this as it is very hot and even after you turn off it don't touch the main reflector or cylinder it will be very hot for a long time.* Compartment for propane cylinder is wide and long. I used the wide tank from Costco and it fits well and the regular Home Depot propane tank also fit which is a little taller then Costco one.* Heater cover comes in the box so need to worry about that. Once it cools down(Wait atleast 30-40 mins) cover it.Suggestion :* If there is a way to put some kind of tray around the base to put glasses that will be great. but most of patio heater comes in this same design

Welcome addition to winter outdoor dining.
The PAMAPIC Patio Heater, 46000 BTU Commercial Propane Outdoor Heater has enabled me to dine with friends and neighbors outdoors on the patio during this time of COVID. It provides enough heat to be comfortable for several hours even when temperatures are below freezing. The heater's igniter did not ever work; I found out from the supplier that it needs a battery which requires taking it apart. I have not done that yet. I don't understand why one was not provided and installed. I use a long grill butane lighter to ignite it and that works. I get about 8 hours of use out of a standard propane tank. I bought a Sweet Heat screen along with the heater that directs a lot of heat where needed (instead of being lost off the backside). The heater gets top heavy as the propane tank is used up and can blow over in a strong wind. Some sort of ballast (sand or water) around the bottom would help. The cover provided is a nice addition. The heater also has some wheels which help to move it, although it is still a little awkward. This heater was definitely worth the investment. I recommend it.

GOOD DEAL FOR THE PRICE POINT
For the price it is a very nice heater. it arrived in good shape with no damage. The instructions were easy to follow and the entire project took me about 1 hour and 45 minutes. 20 minutes of that assembly was using taking the blue clear plastic off. Many people have mentioned it is difficult but actually it was pretty easy. Just get a corner peeled back and "slowly" pull and it comes right of. It really is no problem. The heater lighted on the first click of the starter and burned evenly. I am impressed given that this is less than $200. It did throw off some nice heat but given the outdoor temperature was about 45 degrees, the heat from the heater projected maybe 4 feet in radius. It's important to note that this is an open patio with no walls or ceiling to trap the heat. I doubt that you are going to get anymore of a heat range than what I mentioned in a open patio when it is in the 40's. However, it actually did better than the old one that I had that was about 3-4 years old.Overall, it is a good heater for the price and would probably be even more effective with a walled or screened in porch. In an open patio environment, I would not expect more than the 4 ft. heat radius that I have experienced. On that basis I would recommend.

Easy to assemble, about 45 minutes and no missing parts. Sturdy, looks good when assembled and fired right up. Probably the same with similar models but when the wind blows and it doesn’t take much, it’s pretty much over unless your OK with small flame dancing around outside of the heating element. Not dangerous necessarily depending on where you have it placed, but it did tarnish the metal collar below the element which I bet will clean-up. Turning it down did help. Nice to have the cover included but you’ll need to be patient putting it on. Attempted to install a tank fuel gauge but there’s just not enough room where the tank is housed. All in all pleased with the quality, ease of assembly, heat output and how it presents. I’ve never owned another patio heater, always a fire pit, so I have nothing to compare it to but I would purchase it again. Seems priced appropriately based on comparisons prior to purchase.

Incomplete
We bought the propane version and it came with natural gas line. Reached out to seller with no reply. Thankfully was able to find from hardware store for 20-30$. The wheels component don’t match the holes in the unit and thus won’t work. Looks like they filled the box with whatever parts were lying around. Quality is cheap, the customer service is terrible, I’m expecting now that the unit will stop working as well. I don’t recommend!!

Be aware Not all required parts included by design
Doesn’t come with a propane regulator. The hose it comes with won’t work out of the box. You need to buy a separate hose with a 3/8” female flare and regulator on it. For the average person this would just seem like parts are missing. The instructions are not clear on any of these facts until you read the fine print. Once my order of a $50 hose arrives we’ll see if this thing even works!
