I bought this case two years ago, and it's regularly kept our phones safe. I'm posting a review today because it totally saved my wife's phone today. She dropped while we were kayaking, after an accidental spill. We didn't realize the phone was gone for about 15 minutes. We made it back to the apot, and I could see it under about eight feet of water. I retrieved it, and the phone was totally fine. It would be better if the case had built-in buoyancy, but as long as you tie they lanyard to something -- or attached a floating wrist strap, that would help. Bear in mind that it will not work with an iPhone 7 which lacks a mechanical home button. You can't click to wake the phone, though the side buttons might work to take pictures.

I purchased this on sale well in advance of a vacation in Hawaii. I am so glad I made this purchase. Have been using it on the beach all week. Not a drop of water in the case, and I have been in rough surf. Extremely easy to open and close, no finicky zip lock type closure. The touch screen on my iPhone still works with the case on. I took it snorkeling hoping to take underwater pictures - this was mostly a fail. Underwater, the water puts equal pressure on the screen and makes video and camera use almost impossible.

This case is definitely waterproof if you follow the instructions.Its really more of a bag - not a case.Fits an Iphone 6/6S with no issues.All functions still usable, just may have to press harder if you have your phone in a case and put it into this waterproof bag.Successfully tried to drown the phone in it and it came out dry.Worth a shot even if you just put a phone in it to take to the pool to protect it from an accidental shower.

Get this case if you plan on going near water with your phone. It's worth it, even if you use it one time only.As a witness to a friend's iPhone demise when it decided to abandon ship and jump overboard, I decided to pack one of these just in case. Well, good thing I did. This case not only saved me more than once, it saved a bunch of other people's stuff as well. Not only phones.It's simple, well built and never leaked. Highly recommended.

I used it on my last trip to Hawaii. We used two of these to put our phones, hotel key cards, IDs, and money while on the beach or during the snorkeling trip. The touch screen still works 100% while the phone in the pouch which was a nice surprise. The plastic is clear enough for to take picture.

Great product. Only thing was that I had to take off the case to my iPhone 6 Plus to get it to fit, the the bag kept my phone, money, credit cards and license all safe and dry. best was I was able to take great video and pictures using my phone while it was in the bag and wet. Tested it all out prior but really used it a Hurricane Harbor for pictures of kids on all the slides.

What a cool product! I recently used this on a canoe trip as I wanted to have my phone close at hand for a few photos. Provided you keep the bag clean—you can even take photos through it without much distortion! I appreciate that it includes a cord for wearing around your neck, too. I'll definitely keep these around!

I have tested it out multiple times in the pool as well as in the sink. I don't exactly plan on dipping my phone very deep, but as a precaution i have this if I'm going to be around water. It has done what it is intended for and at a very good price.
