Worked great for securing luggage on trains in europe! I understand that this lock is merely a deterrent for theft, not very protective against it if someone has a tool to cut the cord, but all we wanted was to lock our luggage to the luggage rack so a snatch and run situation would not happen. Very easy to use, we could attach and remove it very quickly so we wouldn’t hold anyone else up on the train.

Great lock. I keep one in my purse and one in my travel backpack. It’s small and lightweight. The cable is very thin so a thief could easily cut it but that’s what makes this small, lightweight and easy to keep in my purse and backpack 24/7. When I eat at outdoor cafes and I have to hang my purse on my chair, I use this to lock my purse to the chair so it can’t be stolen. When we ride long train rides, I wrap this cable lock through the handles of all our bags and can doze off with less worry. Also comes in handy to secure my beach bag to the beach chair. Whenever the thought of someone taking something crosses my mind, I take it out and use it

As an avid traveler, I always make sure to keep my luggage secure during trips. That's why I purchased the Lewis N. Clark Cable Luggage Lock for my snowboarding trip to lock up my board when I run into the pub to grab a drink and now use it for business travel to lock my luggage in the hotel rooms. I was extremely satisfied with the product, as it kept my belongings safe and secure throughout my travels.The lock was easy to use and the cable was flexible enough to fit through different types of zippers and luggage handles. I also appreciated the 3-digit combination lock, which allowed me to create a unique code that only I knew. The lock is sturdy and durable, and I have no doubt it will last me for many trips to come.The only thing I disliked about this lock is the confusion between the 2 buttons and 1 lever (one button is to unlock, one is to retract the cable, and the lever is to set your combo) that I mix up from time to time, this dos not take away from the function and security of the lock.Overall, I highly recommend the Lewis N. Clark Cable Luggage Lock for anyone looking for a reliable and easy-to-use lock to keep their luggage safe during travel.

I use this lock at busy public/hotel pools just to deter the casual thief from coming by and grabbing my bag while I swim. I lock my bag to the pool chair. I usually only keep a limited wallet and no valuables anyways, but theft of any kind sucks. I want to be discreet and not carry my main bike lock into the hotel pool area.I would never use this lock to truly secure anything of importance or anything you are going to walk away from for a while. An organized thief with tools can cut right through this.Pro: Discreet, easy to carry/travel, good priceCon: Only a deterrent in low theft risk areas. Need to use appropriately. High risk areas and items need more robust locks.

Broke after 3 months of use and I had to cut it off. Regular medical scissors cut the wire no problem. I used it to lock my lead at work because people kept using it when I wasn't there and not putting it back. Worked great until it didn't all of a sudden and I had to cut it off. Waste of money. The retractor reel broke before the lock jammed on me.

I recommend this over the Burton cable lock and most alternatives!Someone tried stealing my snowboard at a resort the first weekend of the 2021 season. Decided to get a cable lock after that. A friend got the Burton cable lock and it came with no instructions on how to use or reset the combo and it was a little bulky. After that I decided to look for alternative cable locks. This comes with instructions and so easy to use while being small/compact to fit in your pocket while you ride.Why would you want the lock if it’s small/compact? You’ll eventually want to put your snowboard or skis on the racks to go take a break so you can eat, drink etc. This is when boards get swiped and stolen! You can lock your board/skis on the rack and go to your car or whatever having piece of mind that it’s secure and not getting swiped. Not flimsy at all and I’ve tried to stress test it by pulling the cable while it was locked in place as well.THIS FITS IN YOUR POCKET WITH NO ISSUES WHILE YOU SHRED! I put this cable lock in my pocket when I go ride and it’s so small and compact that I don’t even feel it or notice that it’s there. I’ve wiped out so many times and have landed on where I put it…didn’t even notice and it caused no issues. No rust issues at all either.I recommend this product!

This lock is amazing if you are in a hurry and only if you lock it up in public places with cameras watching you because it's not built for Max durability or does not have military grade technology protection for the cable.I paid $12 in my honest opinion I think it's worth for the size, durability, I think it's worth around 8 not 12 but if you're in a hurry and you park your bike in a public places in front of cameras, this lock is really good for quick run and run out action.As you can see in the image, I do not post the image to downgrade the product but I bought this before I bought a cable and a vibration alarm for my bicycle and at the time this cable lock was all I had.That was a bad idea to have this if that's all you have because if you're in a city like me that is growing daily with thieves that that get away with vandalizing your stuff right front cameras, you're going to need a thicker more durable cable lock and a vibration alarm, and also good knowledge of law enforcement if you use self defense weapons.This locks cable broke so easy, it was not even the cable that broke but the cable head. This lock can be easily fixed, because of the way it broke but if this is all I have my back is very under protected.Don't forget that no matter how many locks and cables you have, thieves always have knives and they love to go for the tires so you going to need something like I a motorcycle tarp to cover up the bicycle as well.There's some parts that are quick and easy but just be prepared to always watch your bicycle when you lock up, because the best defense for your bicycle is a baseball bat with law enforcement respect for proper use AKA go for the legs.I would buy this again but only after I had a vibration alarm and a durable cable lock which I now have.In the image, everything still works properly except for the fact the cable needs to be repaired and maybe I can have a guy down the road fix it at his car shop.

Can’t really provide a detailed review for this product as it hasn’t been used yet. Does appear to be of good quality for the price

I have 3 of these locks now. Great for quick and easy lock up of ski gear. I easily get my skis and poles locked together.Cable could possibly be cut thru with some wire cutters, but it's more a persuasive measure to stop impulsive theives. I still lock my skis and keep them in view, but if you take your eyes off them for a minute, the locks may help keep them there.Also... The locks are very easy to setup and use, and I think will last quite a while. I've used one lock last year and brought 2 more for this season. Good stuff

I bought this for a business trip after reading that it had topped the recommended list for locks - it's absolutely fantastic! Very easy to use, and allow me to secure my suitcase to the metal luggage rack during my train journeys, and then to the handrails in the hotel room when I went out. You can adjust the cable to whatever length is needed, and it's very strong. Highly recommended and great value for money!

Would have been good but when I received it, it was locked. I tried 000 combination because it is supposed to be the default but it didnt work. So I still couldn’t use it until now. I waste my money

After my last combination lock got broke, I got this one as I hoped it would last. It was much bigger than expected, but it held out pretty well. I use it on a rolling tool bag to keep 2 zippered panels closed, and as I can use just 1 lock, its great. I can't attest to the durability as it got cut off in Australia as they didn't have the ability to use a TSA key?? (They were kind enough to put it in the tool bag, with a nice cut mark through the wire)

Es ist vielleicht nicht gegen schweres Gerät eines Einbrechers oder Diebes die beste Lösung, aber im Alltag die Lösung für viele kleine Dinge, damit ihnen keine "Beine wachsen".Übrigens wird das Schloß nicht immer in blau geliefert, die Farbe variiert. Ich habe z.B. ein orangenes Schloß bekommen und bin sehr damit zufrieden.
