I've been on a weight loss plan for the last few months and for the most part it's been working. I did have one hurdle, however, and it was keeping me from getting to my ultimate goal. They gave me a way to get the supplements I need without the sugary crap in a can! I purchased B12, Pure Caffeine powder, Niacin (B3), and Vitamin C (Ascorbic acid). This little cocktail has revolutionized my entire day! I take it first thing in the morning and within minutes I have my full Niacin flush. It's a little intimidating the first time around, but you eventually get used to it. I'm able to get through my ENTIRE day with no jitters, no elevated heartbeat, and just as importantly, no crash! The combination of supplements I'm taking has helped my metabolism to increase and burn fat as energy. I've already lost another 5 pounds since I started this regiment. Now I won't lie and tell you that it's a tasty little treat each morning. Because it isn't. It taste like a mixture of ground chalk and powdered aspirin. But that is to be expected. These are vitamins, not pixy sticks! I combine them all together and then toss them down the hatch and chase it with a cold glass of milk and some oatmeal. I did originally try to dissolve them all in a glass of water. This doesn't work and anyone that tells you it does, isn't being truthful. It clumps up at the bottom of the glass and no matter how hard you try, it stays there. I use this to supplement niacin for my ducklings as a preventative measure. I mix a small amount into their water, and they drink it without any issues. It’s water soluble, so there’s no risk of overdosing, which takes the stress out of dosing. I don’t wait for signs of deficiency—I give it to them right away. But in the past, when I’ve had ducklings showing signs of niacin deficiency, I’ve seen noticeable improvement within about two days of using this powder. That’s why I don’t skip it anymore. It’s inexpensive, easy to use, and crucial for healthy development. If you raise ducks, especially fast-growing breeds, this is something you want on hand from day one.

So I got the Kg size for a good price, but I'm not as keen on the form, as it is too powdery, like dealing with powdered sugar. It sticks to measuring spoons and handles, it's just messy. I bought another brand before this and it was more granular, and didn't have these issues. I'll probably use a silver spoon outside of the container I have it in instead of a plastic spoon inside to lessen the mess going forward.

I was diagnosed with Crohn's Disease in 2001, Fibromyalgia in 2003, and Steroid-Induced Avascular Necrosis (bilateral hips, knees & shoulders; steroids administered for Crohn's) in 2005. Living in the Midwest, with cold winters & rain-soaked springs, November through February are extremely uncomfortable months. In March, however, in anticipation of warm temperatures to come, I begin tapering my pain medication in exchange for more natural solutions. I've tried many different supplements, and have always had success with Niacin. In the past I've only used Niacin in pill form. Having Crohn's, I have an inherent difficulty absorbing nutrients. I've always been concerned that pills made with beeswax & silica may not be readily absorbed by my system particularly. I was elated when I stumbled across "Bulk Supplements" brand while looking for supplements on Amazon. This Niacin powder is THE TRUTH 🙌!!!! I only take it once a day, in the evening. For me, the "flush" literally flushes the Fibromyalgia ache out of my muscles, and diminishes the stiffness in my joints, especially my knees. Initially the "heat" is invigorating, then the itching is a little annoying (but reassuring that my pores are responding), then finally I become very relaxed. I sleep so well at night after taking this and wake up refreshed. I will absolutely continue to order this product! I appreciate that it doesn't contain unnecessary fillers, and I like being able to adjust my dose accordingly (to what my body needs at the time). My order arrived quickly, and sealed nicely. My only regret is not ordering the larger size.

I bought this item (BulkSupplements Niacin Powder B3) to boost immunity, implicitly trusting BulkSupplements, based on many positive experiences with their other vitamins and herbs. Little did I know that even modest doses of pure Niacin/Vitamin B3 causes an allergic-like response. I took the recommended 1/4 teaspoon. Literally within seconds, I broke out in a severe, swollen, itchy rash all over my entire body. I never experienced anything like it. I drank copious amounts of water (1 glass per hour) for the next 2 days to flush my body of this poison. I couldn't eat for 2 days. Then finally my health returned. Damn shame that BS did not trouble themselves to include any health information or warning about the well-known Niacin rash, nor bother to tell customers to BE CAREFUL using this Vitamin B3-powder lest you poison yourself. I learn about Niacin poisoning via a product by another manufacturer (NOW Foods Supplements' Niacinamide Vitamin B-3 500 mg, Energy Production, 100 Veg Capsules ), who carefully stated on their label that their product is a biochemical precursor of niacin AND that their product does not produce the flush commonly associated with taking pure Niacin. I had to live & learn and almost went to the ER for medical treatment. You can learn from my experience and avoid this BS product altogether and buy NOW's niacinimide.

I got this for ducks and geese. When babies they need extra niacin. Its given mixed in the water they drink at 100mg per 1 gallon. This powder is great. It's pure. It's easy to measure dosage, and because its a powder I don't have to crush it. Simple and easy to use. I will be getting more when I run out. I just wish I had found this Niacin powder before. Just got my second order of this after running low on the first bag. It lasted me about a year and a half but that is my using it for the babies till they are fully grown and once a month or so for adult birds. How long it lasts will depend on your water containers size. I use fairly small water dishes at first, needing only an 1/8 tsp in a 1/2 bucket of water for the day when they are small. As they grow in size I use bigger containers and more powder accordingly (always measured at the correct dosage of 100mg per gallon). By the time they don't need this they are in a small kiddie pool that takes 1 1/2 tsps of this powder each day. The package label told how much was in various measures, like 1/4 tsp being 547mg of powder. I used a scale to verify I was getting the same amount before just trusting my measuring spoon but it was accurate for me so I just go by how many 1/4 tsps I need for a certain size container of water. It makes it very easy to use. One note though is to dissolve the powder in a small amount of water then mix it in or you can get a few clumps with air bubbles not allowing it to dissolve correctly sometimes.

I have been ordering Bulk Supplement Niacin powder close to 3 years. This recent pack seems different from the past packages I received. The powder is coarse and undissolvable. The taste is faint tart. I am just confused if I should return. Is this normal or a change in manufacturing?

I'm very happy with the supplements. Unlike pills and tablets I can take a smaller amount and mix it in with my food.

Much better than pills or tablets, this will let me years.
