I also wouldn’t say it’s 24”, maybe 20” at best and it thins out a lot at the ends. It does curl, but I didn’t wash her hair before and it smelled TERRIBLE, like burnt plastic and chemical fumes (another indication of it not being 100% human hair). She also has weirdly short individual hairs, as well as strands that are different colored. This doesn’t photograph so I don’t really care about that. Other reviews said that they had problems with lice, and thankfully mine didn’t show ANY sign of it but I would say triple check just in case.I would say this is great for the time being but if you plan on living out of styling and of doing hair, invest in a better one. I think my 12 year old nieces would enjoy doing her hair and makeup, so if you want to get it as a gift this would be perfect! Specially if they won’t use heat, as it will last longer I believe. Only when scrolling down to read reviews are you able to tell if a mannequin is actually human hair or not -- so hopefully this will help others looking for human hair! Length is decent and density is ok. After ordering synthetic ones advertised as real, I am just thrilled to have found this one. Will be great for practicing my cuts, colors, and using heat styling!
