I’d recommend it
Seems like decent quality and decent value for money. I use it in my keto bread. Also good to aid rising in wholemeal bread it really does work.

Perfect for making seitan
It took me far too long to join the seitan party but it's now something I make very regularly and one big bag of this vital wheat gluten goes a long way - especially compared to buying pre-made vegan 'chicken'. It comes in a resealable bag which works very well - but the outside of the bag was very dusty on delivery even though there were no visible holes in the bag itself. I mostly use it for making shredded 'rotisserie chicken' and it's perfect for this - great with sweet and sour or teriyaki sauces, marinating and skewering with veggies for the BBQ or dusting the pieces in cornflour and baking for crispy vegan protein. Definite thumbs up from me

An essential to make beautiful loaves
Does what it says on the bag. 87.5% protein (gluten). Ideal for boosting Italian 00 bread flour, Wholemeal and lower protein not very strong British flour as compared to Manitoba flour. Buy bulk to save money, particularly if you’re making a lot of loaves every day.

Basic product at good price
It is a basic product at a good price, which is what I was looking for! I got two bags and there was a small hole in the bottom corner of each causing a leak; this seems to be an issue with the packaging design. Aside from that, all good!

Excellent addition to granary flour for bread making
Since being diagnosed with type 2 diabetes I started to make my own bread but didn't like shop bought wholemeal bread. I make my own now, to a recipe I've developed just to my liking using granary flour. Unfortunately it is well known that such flours are low on gluten & tend to give a heavier bread. Using 10% (w/w) of vital wheat gluten gives a bread which lighter & excellent crumb. Now I can enjoy my bread!

No need to buy bread flour again
This is brilliant because it means i no longer have to buy bread flour; just plain flour plus about a tablespoon of this (whatever the recipe says) and you have bread flour. SO MUCH CHEAPER!
