This was a waste of money. The whole thing is too heavy and the magnet doesn't hold it. Long story short, the half on the outside would just drop off the window (luckily I tied the string around something inside or it would have fallen right down the roof on the the ground outside). Waste of money- if you're buying something like this, I would definitely go for one that's light in weight.

I ordered this one specifically for a single glaze pane - there are many other more expensive models that are for double or triple panes. This one works great once you get used to how to use it. I now have window panes cleaned in an old house that had not been cleaned for decades.
