The New Age adds an expedition mechanic that lets you play an adventure, somewhat like Pathfinder Adventure card game, but with an Aeon's End twist. The new characters are phenomenal, adding new and unique concepts to the game.

Nothing beats aeons end new age, it’s a great family game for us to keep us off the screens. My son and wife both love this game.

I really like this game. My first Aeon's End. I played several times in one night because it was so challenging even though I played some of the rules wrong. IT has s o much replay value and I started on the campaign that comes with the game. I recommend this game.

The main box came damaged with a large crack on the top left of the front. The crack is making the box print peel. Normally, I care about my board game boxes; however, this took quite a while to ship, so I'll just keep it in this condition. The items inside the box were of good quality, aside from a few tokens that got damaged as they were getting punched out.

We love Aeon's End, and we own several expansions. So we couldn't wait to try this game. It does not disappoint! The game changes depending on whether or not you defeat the monsters so it's always a different game! And it is challenging which some of the other games we've played multiple times and this one seems like it has much more long term play ability.

Bought this for my teenage sons collection. Every Friday night his friends gather to play games. They loved it (Personally, I chose it because of the cool graphics)

Discovered Aeon's End while I was looking for a game that's best played with two players (it's still a lot of fun with four players, though!), and we instantly fell in love with it. It's a cooperative deck building game, which means that you and your co-players decide how best to tackle each game together. The New Age expansion (which IS playable without any other boxes) introduced Expeditions, which is a fancy name for playing four games in a row with increasing difficulty. We really love The New Age specifically and come back to playing it a lot. We've bought different versions of this game as gifts on multiple occasions and keep infecting new people with this game :D Highly recommended!
