He is covered head to tail, chest, and all 4 feet. His chest has been bald for most of his life, and we now must shave his back every 2 weeks. We've used every prescription medication on the market over his lifetime. He's on a special diet, gets fish oil and yogurt with his food. He has been on daily doses of Ivermectin, and a 7 day run of antibiotics and anti-fungals once a month since he was about 6 months old, but his mange has only gotten worse. The antibiotics and anti-fungals have stopped working, so the vet decided it was useless to continue a treatment that doesn't work. We've been using prescription Sulfur shampoo from our vet for 3 years, but it really hasn't made much of a difference.
