I used Sebastian products for YEARS - since my hairdresser cousin gave me some to "unfry" my swimmer's hair in college - and turned me into a convert, and loyal customer 😁. I have strayed occasionally - this stuff ain't cheap - but always come back, humbled. Unfortunately, with our last move, I have been unable to find a local hairdresser who carries it, so I have struggled with first one then another shampoo/conditioner combos that have all failed to measure up. Never occurred to me to look here🤷‍♀️, I happened to stumble onto it, order this small bottle just to verify it really was Sebastian, and I am in heaven! My hair is SAVED🤣. I have put the large bottles on Subscribe, so that I will never be out again. After the shampoo, my hair and scalp feel squeaky clean. After the conditioner - I've washed my hair three times with it - and it has improved with each wash, now the comb glides through my wet hair in the shower. When dry, my fine - and oily - hair feels light and silky, just as I remember, and stays light all day! I have always had to wash my hair daily, but while I was "lost" without Sebastian, it would be either so dry it was uncombable, or flat and oily by noon - depending on which of the shampoos I was trying. All fixed! Thank you Amazon! I am pitching a huge box of half-used disappointing hair products now that I have access to Sebastian again!😁 Very Happy! (Yes, it almost feels like a religious experience...😉)

first, I am very unhappy that both my shampoo and conditioner arrived damaged. I lost half of the product on both items. I contacted Amazon about this. I did manage to try what was left out of the bottles. I feel that this is perfect for fine/thin hair like mine, it's very lightweight and makes my hair immediately feel healthy and look shiny, These did not make me feel oily or weighed down at all. however, I am not a fan of the smell, it reminds me of a men's cologne. The scent did not last too long and I do use a leave-in conditioner, so the smell of my leave-in did cover any cologne scents. I feel that Sebastian Dark Oil is perfect for anyone with fine hair. Overall I do like it, I am waiting for Amazon to refund me for the damaged bottles and I will repurchase these. I also want to mention, that anyone saying that Amazon is selling fake Sebastian products, well, I reached out to Sebastian who is owned by Wella, Both Sebastian and Wella got in contact with me and informed me that if you go through their website and click on the sold at Amazon, then they are Legit. if you just search Amazon they cannot guarantee if those are fake or legit. I would recommend these.

Moisturizer. Worth it if traveling size. Value for amount. Works on all hair types. No greasiness.

Great shampoo. Trying over Aveda & Kenra. Very happy. Will purchase this brand again. Saved my hair. I have long, fine auburn hair. On the dry side. Worked better for me than the above brands. Not much scent- I do prefer more scented shampoos & conditioners. I bought off their website using the Amazon link- go to S.D website, you'll find the Amazon link when you place an order. The bottle was bigger than expected- thought I was ordering a travel/sample size. Good value for money. Don't need a ton either. I paired the Moisterizing Conditioner with this shampoo- works great. My hair does not feel weighed down. Just soft & healthy. Update: had to stop using it. My hair turned oily after a day. Tried 1 of their other shampoos. Same thing. How unfortunate.

I have both the shampoo and conditioner. It makes my hair look sooooo good and it smells absolutely amazing!! Highly recommend.

First , i have a really sensitive scalp so I was a little nervous to buy this seeing there is fragrance. My Niece received this from her boyfriends Aunt who is a very well know hairstylist. I actually notice the pretty bottles if I’m being honest. My Niece told me she loves this shampoo and conditioner and the Aunt does as well. So I took the chance and bought both, I LOVE IT! My hair is soooo shiny and soft I was amazed , I kept touching it all night! It didn’t make my scalp red or itchy and the fragrance wasn’t to strong it’s actually very pretty and just enough that it doesn’t interfere with your perfume! I did use Gisou oil and a little Kendra blow out spray but I always use both so it was the this shampoo & conditioner. The only thing I regret is not buying the larger bottles. Purchasing them right now! I have fine hair and it’s been thinning a little in the front but it didn’t leave my hair heavy or thin looking , just very shiny and super healthy looking with a bit of volume! I couldn’t ask for more! 👌🏼

Il laisse mes cheveux doux, légers et brillants dès la première utilisation. Le parfum est agréable sans être trop fort, et il mousse bien sans agresser le cuir chevelu. Mes cheveux sont visiblement plus sains et faciles à coiffer. Un vrai coup de cœur que je recommande les yeux fermés !

So I discovered this after spending $300 at a salon getting my hair done. They carried these products, and as salon brands always cost a fortune, I wasn't shocked to pay $35 per bottle for a shampoo, and conditioner. I loved them so much though! My hair smelled amazing, and it helped with the winter frizz, and gave me shine and moisture without weighing down my super fine flat hair... I actually had volume! Def pick these up if you want something that will give you body and moisture without being heavy. That being said - when I searched for it on a whim one day and found out that they are selling for like $20/bottle on Amazon, I felt super scammed by the salon. Oof. Won't buy anything from a salon again without checking Amazon first from now on.

Ich habe feines Haar, das schnell fettig wird, und das SEBASTIAN PROFESSIONAL DARK OIL Shampoo hat mir wirklich sehr gut geholfen. Meine Haare fühlen sich länger frisch an und nach nun längerer Anwendung muss ich mittlerweile nur noch jeden 4. Tag waschen (früher zum Teil jeden 2. Tag). Außerdem beschwert es die Haare überhaupt nicht und ist daher perfekt für feines Haar geeignet. Der Duft ist sehr angenehm und die Haare fühlen sich nach dem Waschen weich und gepflegt an. Werde ich auf jeden Fall wieder bestellen!
