I bought this for an elderly relative who sometimes needs to get to the toilet very quickly, which was the main reason for the purchase. In that context it has proved reassuring and practical to have available. It would also be suitable for travelling, camping, or any situation where access to a toilet is limited or uncertain. We have used similar products in the past that were fitted with a clip on lid. While these were slightly quicker and more convenient to remove and refit, they were not waterproof if laid on their side or accidentally knocked over. This version uses a screw lid instead. Although it takes a couple of seconds longer to open, it is completely watertight when fully closed, which more than compensates for the small reduction in speed. The screw thread itself is not overly long, so only one full turn is needed to open or close it, unlike some designs that require several turns and can feel fiddly. In terms of build quality, the bottle feels well made and durable. The plastic is rigid enough to inspire confidence that it will cope with everyday handling, including general knocks or minor drops. The lid, tag, and retaining ring around the neck are moulded as a single continuous piece, which makes it unlikely that any part will break off prematurely. This integrated design also means the lid cannot be misplaced. The opening has a rounded rim rather than a sharp edge, which makes it more comfortable to use and easier to clean. The handle is solid, well sized, and easy to grip, even with reduced strength or dexterity. Overall, the ergonomics feel sensible and well thought out for its intended purpose. The shape of the bottle also allows it to be stored either upright on a flat surface or laid on its side. Some more rounded designs will only rest on their side, so having the option to store this one in either position is a practical advantage, particularly where space or stability is a consideration. I got this for my husband has he has fractured his spine. The product is very good quality, thick plastic, with a wide rim. The handle is easy to hold and it can hold a lot of liquid so it lasts throughout the night. It can be stood upright to prevent leakage, althought the screwcap is good and is tight. I am very happy with this purchase and it would come in handy for future car journeys, camping trips etc

Have had no problem with this Urinal. I'ts a great piece of kit.

Not too good Bottle that was delivered doesn’t look like the same quality as the one on the picture with the way the plastic looks. The bottle in the photograph with a man holding the bottle looks like a better white plastic bottle and one delivered is of a cheaper looking plastic. The lid doesn’t glow in the dark, even though I had it at the window in the sunshine for most of the afternoon. The lid also it’s hard to start when putting back on the bottle. I have seen the same bottle by a different supplier where you got two for about the same price as the one cost. The bottle however, is perfectly adequate for my needs..

Bought this for elderly parent as he has problems gripping handles and with this open handle it makes it so much easier. The lid is good and we have had no leaks so far it's well made and value for the money

This is very useful in the early days after a Total Hip Replacement for the middle of the night. As it's difficult to mobilize at night, this can simply be placed between the legs when you need to 'go'. The neck is inclined and wide, which means it's easy to use. The cap does indeed glow in the night. As it has square sides and a square bottom it can be laid vertically or horizontally before or after use. The handle is very convenient - you can carry it despite using crutches (eg for emptying) by sliding the handle between two shirt/pyjama buttons. It does the job very well.

Overall I am happy with my purchase of this urine canister. I have tried and tested many other units, some with success and some with disappointment, in particular lids that cannot be trusted to stay tight during the night revealing an unpleasant surprise the next morning that the wife takes no pleasure cleaning up! One brand almost cost me my marriage! Positives of this one are firstly the size, I can fit at least 4-5 long wee’s in it, and I am talking the kind that feel they are never going to stop. The practicality of this means I do not need to get up from my bed to visit the bathroom (which is a good 10 feet away), and fully wake myself up in the process. It stands up well during the night, even on carpet it is very sturdy. Like a soldier standing to attention waiting patiently to be slashed in. Negatives for me are the lack of a glow in the dark lid which a lot of my previous models have had, but not a deal breaker. Maybe this brand can upgrade the next model which I would be queuing up for like the latest iPhone release! Depending on the size of your manhood may mean you find it sometimes a struggle to ensure you are fully inside the bottle prior to release due to the size of the bottle and proximity of the opening, or at least so I am told by my mate Dave, I of course do not have such issues! My wife tells me that emptying my bottle every morning is apparently not great given the location of the opening again meaning you have to tip at an awkward angle, but then again I take anything she says with a pinch of salt. So, everything taken into account I would recommend, but come on guys bring out the glow in the dark version!

Handy little lifesaver for road trips and sick-day bedside duty 🙂. The glow-in-the-dark lid makes it easy to find at night without fumbling for a light. Thick plastic feels tough so I’m not worried about leaks if it tips over. Screw-on cap seals tight, no drips in the car and absolutely no smell. It rinses clean with a splash of soap and hot water then air-dries fast. My only note is the handle opening is a bit small for big hands, but it still gets the job done.

Bought this for my husband some time ago. Works like a charm and allows for comfort and ease of use. The best part is that it has a screwable top decreasing the possibility of spillage.

Article conforme et adapté à mes besoins, le diamètre étant assez grand cela me permet un aisance dans l'insertion de ... Je ne vous fais pas un dessin ! La sonde urinaire peut contenir 2 pipis pour un homme de corpulence moyenne, cependant mon voisin me l'a emprunté l'autre jour et celui-ci me certifie qu'il arrive à en faire 3 ! Le couvercle glow in the dark fonctionne du tonnerre ! Seul bémol j'ai par erreur un jour enlevé le plug fluorescent de ma femme en pensant que c'était la panne ! Je ne vous raconte pas le bazar ! Il y a un petit trou au niveau du dessus de la hanse, pas de soucis pour vraiment mettre la dose le trou de la hanse n'est pas relié au conteneur, pas besoin donc de se salir les mains ! Excellent produit, je recommande vivement !
