My Wild and Wonderful opinion:Pros:-Left hair super soft and noticeably shinier than with other styling aids.-Product smells great; the scent isn’t overwhelming and I have a very sensitive nose.-Defined my curls well-Very thick so it provides a lot of slip and it’s easy to apply.-The price is great. A little goes along way so you get much bang for your buck.-After touching it up on days 2-5 (I just reapplied some cream to the fuzzy pieces and retwisted at night - woke up and unraveled) it was completely dry in the morning. Remoisturized my hair excellently.I feel pretty ok with the styling results...but you can be the judge ;)Cons:-Drying time was ridiculous. The product is so thick and creamy that 12 hours of air drying - hair was still moist. I think I let my hair air dry for at least 24 hours. The next time I will sit under the dryer for an hour instead. Hopefully that will be sufficient.-This product does not provide my 4A hair with a lot of hold, so I had to spot twist frizzy strands at night to keep the look polished.I would definitely purchase the Cantu Shea Butter Coconut Curling Cream again. I may pair it with a flaxseed gel to increase hold. I’ll admit I had low expectations for this cream because my hair is long and pretty much unmanageable. I have naturally wavy, dry hair. It looks fabulous with product in it or when I dry it straight and then use my Chi. But both processes suck so much and take so much time that I only wash my hair maybe twice a week. It’s in a cute messy bun the rest of the week. HOWEVER, I STILL need product to make my messy bun cute with curls. And by product, I mean leave in conditioner, beach hair curling spray, mouse and hairspray. Then I scruncy it for a short time to get actual curls before I do anything else with it. It is seriously THAT much of a freaking pain. And of course it is ALWAYS crunchy when I wear it curly.But this cream just eliminated every one of those products AND the dreaded crunchy crap from my routine.My hair has NEVER felt or looked this naturally curly. Not ever!! No crunch. Just fabulous hair.Wash your hair, towel dry it and apply all over. Once it’s applied evenly, scrunch with your hands a bit and let it air dry. You’ll love it!!

First off, let me just start by saying that I have loved every cantu shea butter product that I've purchased so I had really high expectation for this product and honestly, it was really good. I'm kind of a product junkie and i love stylers so I had a lot to compare it to but basically in my opinion: it's miles better than the kinky curly styler but not nearly as good as eco styler gel. The consistency is really good for thick hair but I feel like it would probably weight down thin hair so I wouldn't suggest it if you have thin hair. It defines my curls and keeps my hair moisturized though so It's a thumbs up from me! Hair type: 4, Porosity: Very Low

I have 3A thin hair, medium length. I found this product about 2 years ago and keep returning to it. After washing my hair, I scoop a small amount of cream from the jar and dilute with tap water and coat my hands. Then I flip my hair over and apply the product from roots to ends. I scrunch my hair while drying lightly with a diffuser. GREAT curls!!! The up-side for me is I can quickly refresh the look on dry hair the next couple of days by flipping my hair over and spritzing water from a bottle from roots to ends. Scrunch ... fluff ... good to go. The only down side I have found is during humid weather my hair will frizz a bit so I have a different product I use during the rainy season.

To Everyone with curly unmanageable hair, here is a miracle hair product that will change your life. I spent most of my life trying to find the right stuff and many years (and $$$) being the guinea pig for curls defining products. The picture below is after one application Best thing it’s cheap. Smells very coconuty, doesn’t contain sulfates or silicones, leaves your hair soft, defines your curls and adds volume. No more burning my hair with the flat iron!! I will start loving my hair after 37 years!

This product does exactly what it is advertised to do, it does a great job volumizing & adding a bit of curl and texture to my naturally flat straight hair.It also, however, smells more strongly than a Yankee Candle store, which is not advertised. I'm really not into scented products, I probably won't wear this because I don't want to smell like a Fruit by the Foot.

I finally found something to get rid of my frizz and make my hair smooth and shiny! I love it. It doesn't even make me greasy. Some people complain about the strong smell. In my opinion, it is strong for a little while after applying it but once my hair dries I don't smell it at all. It smells good, anyway.

This stuff is fantastic, I feel like it's really upping my curl game. I have 2C/3A curls, I use it under my DevaCurl Arc Angel. The definition is fantastic.
