This is very nice the colour is good value for money

I purchased the Ironstone Grey and the Driftwood Gray! I started making crates for my Etsy shop and I was originally buying the pre-dyed ones from IKEA however, they were out of stock for ages and the orders were stacking up. I decided just to buy some wood stain and try myself and these turned out amazing! The Ironstone Grey is the darker in the image and the other 3 are the Driftwood Grey. Ironstone gives a much fuller coverage with a slight wood grain visible, nice dark colour and the Driftwood Gray was a lovely light grey with quite a bit of wood grain visible. I loved both and again I have purchased another bottle of each colour. I purchased the 250ml bottles and so far I have stained apprx 11 crates and I have just ran out. Easy to apply but the Ironstone is more forgiving. The Driftwood is harder to paint with in the sense that if you overlap any paint it does change colour in places etc but with a bit of practice its easy! I wouldn't be able to comment on the durability as such as the wood im using them on is a very softwood so she chips and the raw wood is visible however, for what im using it for its perfect

We wanted a feature wall on which to hang coats. The look we were going for was that it needed to look like it had been assembled from reclaimed wood. After a fair bit of experimenting, I found that staining with a dark-ish stain, sanding right back, then finishing with a light coat the Littlefairs gave the result I was looking for. If you look at the picture of the finished article, you can see the boards that are much more grey/lighter than the rest are the ones I interspersed that hadn't been pre-treated with a coat of brown stain first. Too grey to use on their own but good mixed in with the others. All in all, not too bad and easy to apply.

This really is great. I made a new desk from plywood and wanted it grey but also for the grain to be visible. I followed all the instructions and it worked out very well for my first attempt at this kind of project. The only point I have to make is that the surface must not have been completely flat, so because the instructions said resist the temptation to brush back and forth it pooled a bit in some areas while it dried and these are a bit darker than the rest of the desk, but not a real problem. I did want it dark so I put three coats on and the grain is still visible. I had to fill some areas and this comes out a bit lighter and of course has no wood grain, so it’s a bit visible. So fill sparingly if you need to. Overall, a really great product that I’m very pleased with.

This colour is not what is advertised, looks like the Driftwood Grey wood stain they advertised, was put straight over wood that had an orange tint to it. I used this and applied 2 coats as the first came out a little streaky, (used a paintbrush). I applied this colour straight over white, and also the cabinet was rubbed down etc before hand. Not true to the colour advertised, but all in all I like the colour and will stick with it.

Simple to use and results are as I expected. As people have noted, this is a very thin stain, it has the liquid consistency of water. If the instructions are followed you will get a very nice even coat. Depending on the type of wood your are applying it on and how dark you want your stain is to whether you will need a second coat or not. Having applied this to a hardwood handrail with a softwood fillet on the underside of the rail you can see the difference in how the stain soaks in and takes to the wood types. A second coat to darken the softwood was all that was needed to darken in further to match. Colour is a subjective thing but would say that on the softwood I could see a hint of blue as others have noted. This however disappeared with the second coat. On the hardwood it was just grey like expected. As this was on a hand rail we used a can of lacquer spray for cars to seal the product and to make sure we do not get the brush marks from using a brush on varnish.

Very easy to use and gave my rustic shelf the perfect driftwood look. Make sure to follow directions and shake well as suggested on the label. When returning half back to bottle, be aware contents will have bubbled up and increase in volume. Also, dye is very thin and will spatter with application. It will stain clothing or surrounding area so cover well. Strongly suggest clean up directly after finished brushing. Clean up is a breeze. Low odour, dries beautifully. I’d definitely recommend this product.

Good product difficult to mix thoroughly very important that it is mixed extremely well had to scrape the bottom with a coffee stirrer to get the colour uniformed but when to was the finish is very pleasing

It went in smooth and consistent with zero bubbles or discoloration. The quality is high end and it's water based. Works well and is a great value for the money cost.

Purtroppo non ci ha soddisfatti, dalla descrizione sembrava ottimo ma la resa non è stata buona, moooolto liquido, si stende male e l'effetto non è bello, abbiamo dovuto ricarteggiare un mobile in legno per riverniaciarlo con un impregnante migliore. Non lo ricomprerei.

Eine teure Farbe die aber auch ein gutes Ergebnis liefert. Bis jetzt hat sie ein Jahr gut gehalten, nun müsste man langsam wieder nachstreichen. Die Farben sind wunderschön. Meine Müllbox wird auch in den nächsten Jahren diese Farbe behalten.

Ho acquistato il tester per provarlo su una una vecchia tavola del lavatoio riportata a naturale. Asciuga molto in fretta, si stende facilmente, non è coprente, ne serve poco e può essere anche diluito. Purtroppo, il risultato non è stato del tutto soddisfacente perché il colore finale, sebbene la tavola fosse naturale e già ingrigita, vira all’azzurro, un po’ freddo e lontano da quello che immaginavo in base alle foto proposte. Allego foto del prima (lato scanalato) e dopo (lato liscio). Complessivamente un buon prodotto ma, pur considerando che il risultato dipende molto dalla base, ritengo comunque che il colore sia poco attendibile.

I use this to cover a place on my table that I had damaged with some fingernail polish remover. I was concerned that I wouldn’t be able to blend in the color with my table, but once I repaired the one spot and then went over the whole table, it blended perfectly.
