California Costumes Women's Plus-Size South Seas Siren Plus

I normally wear an L/XL; however I went by the weight chart on this costume… instead of size, so I had to go with the 3X. I weigh 193, I am 5’7, & have a DD Chest..... I was worried it may be too big; however it still fit as expected. The 2X went up to 190 lbs, & I know now it would have fit, because I had plenty of room left in the 3X. I am happy to report you can also wear this on your shoulders, & not off the shoulder. I also added a similar colored tank top underneath to hide my bra straps (I can’t wear strapless bras). All in all, it was great & everyone loved it at the Halloween party.

You get what you pay for and I wasn't expecting much. It did fit (barely) my sister in law who is a 2xx. We used it for a Christmas boat parade costume, so people couldn't see us up close. I doubt I could otherwise get her to wear it in person! Definitely a "hooker" type costume...but it worked for our purposes. I thought it was hilarious!

I ordered a size 1X and it was way too big. I am normally a size L to XL but thought the 1X might be ok since it was a costume but had to return it. Looked very cute though and good quality for the price.

I know these costumes tend to run small, but I overcompensated unnecessarily. Was a little big but very manageable. Got lots of compliments on it! I don't know that mine included the head tie as described (though I might have misplaced it) though I bought a hat so I didn't need it anyway. Great costume. Flattering, but "family friendly" and got lots of compliments!

Love this outfit. Nicely made. This does run a bit big. I wear a size 16 so I ordered a 1x expecting it to run a bit small. I could have ordered a size smaller. There is plenty of room in the arms. The color is true to the picture. Arrived in 2 days. Excellent choice for the event I am attending.

The costume is okay. There were 2 big problems for me with the costume. The first is that it fit me like a tent and was not flattering at all. The other problem was that the bottom layer of the skirt is made of some crushed velvet like material and the lace on top sticks to it really badly. I tried everything I could to get the lace to stop sticking and didn't have any luck. Usually I have anti-static spray on hand but was out so that might have made the costume wearable. Personally I didn't feel very pirate like when I put on the outfit. Anyway I ended up wearing a costume from 2 years ago because I just didn't like this one.

Nice to find a plus size costume that actually fits someone in the 20-22 size range. This 3XL was snug, but the bodice fabric had some give, so it wasn't uncomfortable. Decent length, not super short. Shows some leg but not obscence like so many others! The costume is made out of typical costume fabric, not too heavy and not too light.

Fit to size. It did not fall apart after wearing it for several hours...I would order from this company again. Was delivered when promised.
