Lyman Gunsmith Punch Set

I have used these punches and they work good. I have not had any problems with them and they have a good selection of sizes. I really like the box, it makes them easy to remove and put back. Some reviewers have complained about not having a top for the box, I do not see a need for a top. I set them on my work bench and do not have to remove a top to grab a punch, or worry about laying the top somewhere while using the punch.

Pretty nice set of punches - mine came in a wood tray as pictured. No lid but nothing a couple ( for redundancy ) of rubber bands does not fix to hold the punches in while in a box or set up on the side on the bench. Leaving them in the tray makes it easier to just grab the one you want but really not necessary, a great investment for working on your firearms. I would buy them again if needed

These are nice punches. Good and hard so they don't peen when pushing out stubborn pins on my CZ. They never leave my bench.

I do not intend to bash these on anything to the point where they will peen or break. The set is nicely packaged and should work very well for light duty. I used it to rebuild a Ruger 77/22 trigger and bolt.

Since this was inexpensive, the fact that the smallest punch broke the first time I used it is acceptable. The rest are fine, and I can replace that one

A very nice set of punches made here in the USA. I particularly like that they have the size printed on each punch. I could live without the lawyer inspired goggle statement though.
