I'm so glad we bought this leash!!! Our lab mix is a little rambunctious when leashed and likes to pull whether she's wearing a harness or collar. She's only about 25 pounds and 5 months old, but is getting strong. She also focuses too much on trying to grab the leash in her mouth and when clipping to a collar, it's very easy for her to do this. So when I got this leash, it immediately fixed the leash biting issue because it's too hard for her to grab. It's very simple to put on and is great quality. The length is perfect and promotes walking close to you, but is long enough to allow for sniff breaks. Now for the pulling...This leash is basically its own harness, and with its design, your dog won't instinctively pull forward during walks. My dog is still learning our pace during walks, so she'll walk in front and the second it feels like she's pulling, I stop walking until she gives me slack, then I proceed to walk again. With other leashes/harnesses, she would still pull. This leash doesn't promote that instinctive pulling. The only issue I see going forward is where the loops are secured with the tape/rubber material. I keep my dog on a leash and tied to my desk at my office so she can't get into trouble. Unfortunately, she loves chewing on the rubber parts so I have to use a different leash when securing her to the desk. I feel like if she continues to chew on this or if it deteriorates over time, the leash will need to be replaced or that part will need to be reinforced with duct tape or something.

Works for my awesome former stray. She's the sweetest, most canine dog ever, but when she wants to go sniff something, dang your arm, she wants to sniff it! This will pull her off whatever, whether she likes it or not. I use the pulling power with respect, because I don't want a tug of war every time we go for a walk. But I'll say this. One, she stopped pulling and resisting so much once I put this on, and she CAN'T pull her collar over her head. That was an end to that. Two, when she decided the front door was too scary to go in (she would only go in the back door) I PUUUULLLLED her in with this leash, and now she runs for the front door and waits to be let in. Weird, but it worked. For what it's worth, and please don't use this information to drag your dog wherever. I used it to train her to not be an idiot about a door she would go out but not in. She's always had a fear of confined spaces and of being trapped. She was a stray in the neighborhood for a year. My other dog and I convinced her that life was good (and so was the food) in a fenced yard. So she's had some issues. We overcome them one by one, and this leash has helped on a couple of counts - walks are easier (cats and squirrels are unqualifiedly off any menu of any kind) ... and now I don't have to walk her around to the backyard gate, leave her in the yard, go in the front door, walk through and unlock the back door and storm door, and let her majesty in through there. UPDATE 6/2016: Still five stars. Since using the leash to pull her through the door, she is now completely calm as she waits to go in the front door. She still pulls on the walk, but much less than before. We're much more at peace on our walks than we were before this leash; she knows she can't get away, and I know I'm in charge when I have to be. UPDATE 7/2017 Still five stars. The leash is in great shape, and life goes on pretty much as described above. It gets dirty, of course, but I use it to give her baths - she can't get away - and I give it a quick wash at the same time, just running a soapy hand along it. It comes out looking bright and pretty, again.

We love this leash! We used to use a normal leash and wrap it around our dog to get the same effect that this leash gives with the metal ring feature but that wore out our old leash with the leather rubbing on itself all he time. I personally think this type of leash works better than an Easy Walk and is probably as effective as the Gentle Leader it just depends on the dog really. We have a 20 lb cavapoo who is a puller but this leash stops the pulling completely. We ordered the green and I like it a lot. Bought the large one just for length and probably didn’t need thah much length in hindsight. It is quite long. But I just knot it to take out some length. Really great sturdy woven rope and silver tone hardware. Seems very well made. Would buy again by probably won’t need to!

Is an easy to use leash that helps prevent pulling or a dog escaping. I work in rescue and that’s one of our biggest fears, a scared dog slipping a collar and getting away. This leash easily prevents this and the way it loops around the body, it seems to stop most (not all) aggressive pullers. And it fits multiple sized dogs so no guess work on whether it will fit or not. Only lost one star from me due to the cord being consistent all the way to the looped handle. When you’re walking four dogs, it can be a little uncomfortable. But I’ve had mine for well over a year now and they are very durable. Two of my boys were from a hoarding situation, no socialization or training. They were bears to walk until using this leash. Made a HUGE difference and walks became a treat instead of a nightmare. Fits on all my dogs from 40lbs to 90lbs. Did not work with my fear puller though, but neither has any other halter I’ve tried, so I would still highly recommend this leash.

This "no pull dog leash" is a pleasure to use because it seems to (for some reason) slow my dog down from getting all excited when another dog walks by. I don't understand it, but like it. I feel secure while using it as well; other leashes have, on occasion, broken and my dog goes flying at the other dog (very scary) but this leash seems to be very well constructed. It holds. Glad that we bought it! I told my big-bad-boy poodle that it is RED. ;)

Great quality

I own two large breed dogs who were super pullers and this leash self corrects them with little to no tension. I absolutely LOVE IT. My kids who are 2 and 3 are able to walk my dogs with no issue now as well! There is no stretch to the leash as it’s not meant to stretch and the thickness is perfect!

Works well .I had tried just about every other type of lead on malamute and this one seems to work .
