My number one go to protein source
I've been using this product for at least 5-6 years now.During that time period I do occasionally try another brand but always keep this in my program. Why?Firstly No Sucralose, I will NEVER use a supplement that contains sucralose, Cannot understand why any 'health food' would contain sucralose.Secondly flavor, I really like this chocolate. for me it reminds me of Wendy's frosty. (try 50% ice cubes, 50% milk in blender and add this mix until it gets the thickness of a frosty)Thirdly. Cost. On a cost per gram of protein basis, this product is very competitive. (I don't compare it with products with sucralose. They may be cheaper -- I don't care....) And yes a whey isolate protein would have a higher percentage of protein/gram serving, but when calculated as cost per gram, they really are not much better. ("Now" does have a nice Chocolate Whey protein Isolate that I will occasionally cycle into my program, descent price, no sucralose, but I think this flavor has a slight edge - in my opinion )Just for info.. I work out 4x a week. and do an average of two protein drinks a day. 35-40 grams protein each. I have tried at least 8 other brands. (all non sucralose of course) and only two others come close to this one.

Well done NOW Foods!
I am slowly but surely becoming a NOW Foods loyal customer. They bring a no non sense product to the frontlines. I have done extensive research on many proteins, and other supplementation products out there and they always come up as one of my top choices. I just ditched ON Gold Standard 100% whey because they keep cranking up their price on an otherwise basic product. I wrote ON to inquire as to why the huge price hikes and they retorted that it was secondary to the cost of cheese (whey is a byproduct of the cheese manufacturing process and the price of cheese has gone up, or so they say). I did some research to see if I could find another quality protein only less expensive than ON and I ended up with this one. It really isn't that big of a price difference; however, I wanted to try a different product and so I bought this. This protein is a cocktail, or blend of different whey species, most companies will do this because of cost effectiveness, and to increase the bioavailability of their product. In my opinion this stuff gets the highest regards to cost, flavor, digestibility, and ease of mixing. If you are into proteins that have IFBB endorsements, flash and shiny packages, this might not be your protein. If you are like me, and want to spend your money on a no non sense high quality product, you need look no further than this product, or ON's whey (I guess it is a matter of preference on ingredients). Things that I would like to mention to the prospective buyer of the Dutch chocolate flavor is that if you have a dislike for the taste of coconut, you might want to try a different flavor. Additionally, I use 1-2 tsp of natural cocoa powder to all my protein drinks for the antioxidant and flavors, this practice makes all my drinks taste the same. Mixed with water you really get a taste of this coconutty taste, but mixed with milk you barely notice it. The serving size is 70mL or 1/3 Cup and you get 108 servings per 10 pound bag. The big difference that I notice with NOW's Whey vs. ON's Natural Whey is that with NOW you get less servings per bag, but with ON's Natural Whey you get fructose. Save your old protein scoop because they don't provide one in the bag, or at least I can't find it.

Almost great
Seems like a good solid protein supplement choice. My only complaint / wish would be that it contained real sugar and not xylitol.I'm sure most endurance athletes would agree that a bit of sugar content is no big deal and typically gets burned off very quickly during our regular training days.

Gentle on the Stomach and Great Taste
I've tried several protein powders over the years, and I usually end up with uncomfortable gas and bloating. However, NOW Sports Nutrition Whey Protein has been a game-changer for me. I’ve been using it for a few weeks now, and I haven't experienced any of the usual digestive issues. The taste is pretty good too, especially if you mix one scoop with 8 ounces of water. Any less water, and the taste can be a bit too strong for my liking. The texture is smooth, and it mixes well without any clumps.Overall, I’m really happy with this product. It's been gentle on my stomach and helps me get the protein I need without any unpleasant side effects. If you’re sensitive to protein powders like I am, I definitely recommend giving this one a try.

LOVE LOVE LOVE..
This is my absolute favorite! and I am a girl.. works for me and tastes amazing! Buy the smaller one to test it out and see if you like it. I have a great recipe option I personally use listed below.Just wrote this elsewhere in response to a question. There are some other tips relative to other products and my routine but it applies here for NOW Dutch Chocolate so I figured if you are making a decision to buy this or not this may help to have this information here as well:I use it and I have lost weight. I love syn 6 (esp desserts flavors and strawberry milkshake tastes divine) but also NOW Dutch Chocolate (my fav) - When I use the Dutch Chocolate I typically use 1 scoop after a workout or half a scoop as a meal replacement. Post workout I like to mix in half a banana, a scoop of peanut butter, and some cinnamon (which is great for banishing belly fat) and I use water but it is even more delicious with milk (I'm just calorie saving with water for equal deliciousness in my eyes) and it is fantastic and tastes great, fills me up for hours. I have lost considerable amounts of weight as well as built up lean muscle (basically when used in combination with exercise, these shakes can help turn the fat into lean muscle so you look slimmer and toner) Pre-workout I tend to have an oxy elite pill for fat burning and minor energy (no crash, and does not make me jittery) or I will have half of a bottle of watermelon flavored redline drink, which also gives me the energy I need for my workout minus the crash.:) Hope this helps
