With the new season coming up I figured I should give them a go as they have a decent specification and are an ok price for a budget pair of gloves. They arrived well-packaged and felt well built and had a good structure however I immediately realized that the latex was not as good a quality as I am used to. For example; whenever I buy new gloves a good way to get a glimpse of the latex quality is to simply rub the gloves together; they should 'stick' when rubbed. However, with this pair, they slid right off of each other which for me is not a good first impression.Nevertheless, I took it into training and a warmup for a match and again was disappointed in the quality of the grip on the ball especially in the thumb area where it matters most.Whilst I am sure the gloves have good shot-stopping potential they are not good when it comes to intricate handling even in perfect weather conditions and having been properly washed prior to use.Not the best gloves for a high standard of football and would not recommend to aspiring keepers. ### โญโญโญโญ ok *by K***V on Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 10 June 2017* Not half bad! I am new to being a goalkeeper, after borrowing a pair here and there and then finally being told after 4 or 5 sessions in goal to buy some i halted and got these. I am 25 but being these are first pair of gloves i have ever invested in, finding them to be comfortable, supporting while giving me protection as i am learning my trade still which was key, ensuring worst case is i do not end up damaging my hand, due to poor choice in equipment but instead the score haha. They do what they need to been playing 2-3 times a week for 7months now, outdoor and indoor environmental test were given, to test the real effectiveness of these gloves to help discover there best areas of performance. 1 week of testing out door against 1 week while indoor again 2-3 times each week. Maintaining them is difficult, they are decent but after a few games wear and tear is visible, mainly from outdoor! which is frustrating. Recommendation from me personally now fully committed to being a keeper is they best perform when used in an indoor environment. Use better gloves geared towards being used outdoor when not inside, reason now a days mostly the footballs being used are formed of a artificial leather which wear the gloves down at an alarming rate! perfect for indoor will last ages potentially years, not so great outdoor consider a better pair. Overall 4* is accurate for a an affordable pair which does a job. Good gift for young ones, you will see if purchased said quality and over time the issues i have faced.
