Tailwind solved my GI issues and keeps me hydrated without the stomach upset of other sugary electrolyte replacement drinks. The nice light flavors are very refreshing too. Cola is my favorite.

I don’t remember how I found this bag of magic, but things have never been the same since. At first I swore the main ingredient had to be crack, but I’m pretty sure that’s a GMO product, and tailwind isn’t one to sacrifice quality. So no, it’s not crack. It’s sweet magical dextrose and sea salt. It’s calories for when your running in 90 degree heat, and questioning your life choices. It’s there, in your bottle, when the thought of one more gel makes you beg for the sweat release of death. When your stomach has decided to lead an insurrection against anything solid, tailwind stands as a beacon of hope, hydration, and fuel that you can make as light or as strong as you like. If coffee has a cooler, older cousin that spent summers in Europe it would be this magical elixir that comes from a bag and tastes like the fountain of youth.

Bought this for my long runs in preparation for a marathon. I wanted something with electrolytes and actual sugar for fuel (the caffeine in it is a bonus). The cola flavor is not terribly strong which is good, but I may switch for my next purchase. The powder disolves well with some shaking. I feel like it actually helps keep me hydrated and keeps replacing electrolytes because it helps the cramping after I drink it on runs. Plus it doesn't upset the stomach.

I’m training for the Leadville MTB 100, and a friend recommended Tailwind to me. Did a little research and ordered a bag. I have a hard time eating on my bike during endurance events, and haven’t liked any other liquid calories I’ve tried so far (Beta Fuel, Infinit, couple others). I LOVE Tailwind! The flavor is very mild, and I’ve yet to bonk on a ride while using it. I got the Colorado Cola flavor and it’s great, so plan to stick with that.

hydrates well, dissolves well in water, very light flavor and sweetness (although it has 25g sugar per serving!), expensive, and imo the cola flavor is terrible

Does what it says, helps me to keep hydrated during my long summer walks. Noticed a difference once I went from plain water in my bottle to THIS.Hubby works in a non-a/c wood shop - he swears by it now. Keeps him going.Recommended to us by a HIGHLY ACTIVE runner/biker. Glad I listened.

Love how easy it is to use. Typically premix it in a shaker bottle before adding it to my bottles, unless I'm using a hydration pack with a bladder. Then I just shake the bladder to mix it up. I find adding it to smaller bottles or flasks i make way more of a mess with the powder on the counter since they have much smaller openings.Flavor is great, never had any GI issues with it. Cola taste is good, but I do prefer it to be a little stronger. Maybe that's just my sweet tooth talking. When I'm out running for several hours, it's not the end of the world it doesn't 100% taste like a Cola based soda product. But at the end of the day, much better tasting than a lot of other products out there and as such, I find myself wanting to fuel rather than forcing myself to fuel something far less delicious.
