ColumbiaMen's Crestwood Hiking Shoe

Great quality. Great price. Outstanding comfort.
Ordered (blindly, as a leap of faith) a pair of these after trying on Merrel Moabs, Keens, and a few other highly recommended brands and models, none of which worked for my relatively wide feet. Columbia Crestwood fit perfectly and have been super comfortable throughout the few hikes I did in them. Lightweight, flexible (but not overly flexible), they provide just the right amount of grip and protection for the toes. Plus, they were like 40% of the price of the nearest competitor, which is crazy. Love the product and would buy again. Good job, Columbia!

A great shoe with excellent support.
I LOVE THESE SHOES!! So much so I bought another pair and if it came in NAVY I would buy a 3rd pair. I have worn New Balance for well over 40 years. I had 6 pair when I bought this shoe just because I wanted something sturdier. I have 3 walking (608s) and 3 pairs of NB golf shoes. I would cycle the oldest 608 into my yard work shoes and throw out the worn out 608. I thought this would be a good work shoe but it is so comfortable I wear them all the time. I might buy another pair just to put in the closet. When I bought this shoe I was suffering a bit of plantar fasciitis to the point I bought new inserts. I started wearing this shoe (without insert) and it went away. So I played a few rounds of golf in these and now I can walk 6-7 miles without issues. As I said I love this shoe.

Great shoes
These are a really well made pair of shoes. My son insists on getting them over and over again, in gradually increasing sizes. He is on his fourth pair. He’ll wear each pair, daily, for about a year before he needs the next size up. By then they still look good but are, naturally, showing some wear. He wears them to school, for his PE class, mountain biking and on hikes. They are good for all kinds of activities.

Great buy!
Have been excellent shoes. Work for a dealership in parts. Constantly moving and need something durable and wont slip easy on floors coated in oil. Would give 5 stars but my pair came with a defecfive shoe lace that is coming out of the sleeve in the middle so its a pain to keep one shoe tied up. Other than that great shoes.

Comfortable, warm and just plain perfect hiking/walking shoe.
I've been a Columbia fan for many years and have bought everything from shirts, mid-rise hiking shoes and jackets to fleece vests (current vest is over 15 years old.)This is my first pair of low-rise shoes and they are so good I immediately ordered a second pair! Very comfortable and lightweight these do fine with everyday walking, wet trail hiking and scrambling. No ankle twists so far.The sole is on the thick side (making me almost an inch taller). My only complaint is that I have to remember to lift my feet a bit when walking in flat surfaces. No problem on trails and hiking, tho.All in all, a great shoe for all sorts of walking and hiking.

These shoes are made for walking
Got these shoes in one day. Fit is perfect (I'm a 9, medium width). Super light but has a lot of support. Look great and feel great. Tread is not as thick as my other hikers, but this is what I was looking for. Took a long hike to get them broken in and they just feel better and better. Great price, too! $56!!! Couldn't touch this price anywhere else. I had stepped away from buying Columbia products because I couldn't get the fit right. I guess Columbia is back!

These hiking shoes are so comfortable for my wide feet and also waterproof!
The media could not be loaded. I LOVE these hiking shoes. I got them specifically for intermediate hiking trails in national parks, and they performed wonderfully. They kept my feet warm, but not hot. They stayed breathable, yet were waterproof ... I tested Columbia's waterproof claim by walking through some shallow puddles and also trying them in the rain. The shoes passed the test with flying colors. My feet stayed completely dry.Best of all, these shoes did NOT crush my toes and contribute to callouses like some other shoes. I am a woman's 8.5 Wide and often have trouble finding women's shoes that are truly wide in the toebox. That's why I turned to men's shoes for this purpose. So I got a 7.5 WIDE in the men's size as the numbers differ. At least for hiking shoes, I didn't care so much if they looked feminine, but thankfully, these still looked good on me. Since they were men's shoes, I found them to be slightly looser in my heel area, as I discovered men's shoes are cut a bit differently. But with thicker socks, it wasn't a problem for me. I'm just thankful these shoes helped me enjoy several national parks with my family, with great traction on uneven rocky surfaces, zero slippage, and complete waterproofness. At the end of hours and hours of walking, my feet were still happy, and I was happy while enjoying incredible views! I highly recommend these hiking shoes!
