pretty good rope for the price
I bought this rope with the hopes of mastering my double unders. the fact that I haven't is not the ropes fault however I do feel that there are some issues with this rope.it arrived quickly and I have used it a dozen or so times. it's easy to adjust the length but then you have a piece of free white just sort of hanging out at the end. the handles slip toward the long part of the rope when in use so I have to use just the right technique or stop and mess with the rope. the handles are nice quality and the materials used in the rope seem quality I just think there is a design flaw and the handles need clamps on both sides of the rope. I will use this rope for now but I will definitely keep looking for one that better suits my needs.

The ball bearings
The ball bearings got quite stiff after some time. Not so resistant to rust, not sure why they went stiff

A quick turning rope, but it requires some thought.
It is a good looking rope. The rope itself is not quite cable stiff, nor vinyl soft. It is a perfect weight and texture for spinning quickly. The literal rub is in the ends. Each rope end has an adjuster. While that may sound good, one is enough. The adjusters themselves are collars with a knurled edged round headed screw. They allow you to adjust either end well even by hand. But each adjuster affects the balance of the rope ends. The adjusters also have some friction against their stopping points on each handle. The friction causes one side or the other to bind on every turn causing the rope path to deviate. That's no good and would normally lead to tossing the rope into the trash can.But I found that if I held the handles out as if to start jumping, I could see the adjusters had differeng positions. By loosening the adjustment screw and then realigning the adjusters so that the knurled screws were both pointing the same direction, say up, when the rope was at rest, the binding feeling when turning the rope was minimized. Not eliminated though.I'll keep using it for a while. I like the long handles. But it may be a victim of too much engineering.

My coach recommended a rope that has a swiveling joint in the ...
Just started going to a CrossFit gym. It has been 35+ years since I jumped rope, and I was barely able to string 2-3 singles together using the cable-ropes in the gym. Bought this to practice at home, and to bring the the gym to use, as some of the ropes in gym are kinky and tangly. My coach recommended a rope that has a swiveling joint in the handle where the cable passes through, and this rope has that feature. The cable is smooth and thick and a nice red color. It comes in a little pouch that prevents it from getting caught in my keys / headphones / etc. when it is in my bag. Also very efficient for traveling. Since the rope "works" perfectly, I figured out immediately what I need to do to improve my form, rather than cursing the quality of the rope. (Jump higher, faster!) Very happy with this purchase.

Best jump rope!
This is seriously one of the best jump ropes ever. I was hesitant to spend more than a few bucks on a jump rope, but in so glad I did.The rope is thin, but has enough weight to it that it glides smoothly. I can get more jumps in before getting caught up (mostly from my own fatigue.Absolutely love the adjustable length option. This allows you to get the perfect length for you and gives the option for multiple users. The jump rope is really durable and it comes with its own carrying bag. I recently took it on vacation (14 he road trip) and just put it in its bag and carried it in my purse. I was that girl at the gas station/rest area jumping rope! ;) I take it to my local gym too to incorporate in my training. It's definitely superior to any jump rope they have there.

A Good Rope for the Price
Very good customer service. The rope itself is faster spinning than The Master of Muscle brand (which costs a bit less than this one), but not nearly as fast as The Rogue brand that my son has. The handles are nice and long and thicker than less expensive ropes. This is a good rope, especially considering the price; the Rogue is quite a bit more money. You can definitely master double unders with this one.

Screws are too heavy and rope slides
I liked a lot of things about this rope. I was able to use a wire cutter and adjust it to the size I needed. It's light weight and spins nicely. The one huge down side for me was that the screws were too heavy and when I do double unders the weight of the screw slowly pulls on the rope so the handle slides down the rope (making the rope shorter and shorter with each jump) i returned the product because this was a deal breaker for me and made practicing double unders very difficult. I'll be looking for one with lighter weight screws.

amazing
I love love love this jump rope!I tried a few other "speed ropes" from friends while this one was in transit.this rope is by far superior, the others I tried kinked and coiled..this one is smooth and fast, no kinking or coiling.just a tip for newbies...just because it's a speed rope doesn't mean you HAVE to go fast...this is how you get whip marks lolI've let other jumper friends (with more experience jumping) try it and they were impressed as well. great price point, would highly recommend!
