Review: Tons of speed - First off, I consider myself as someone just entering the intermediate level of table tennis play. I found I could not play with generic rackets, but when I played with some friends' cheap Stiga rackets I was able to improve my game to intermediate. My personal play style uses lots of spin. I am inconsistent with my forehand slams, but have control with my backhand. I purchased this Killerspin because of the high speed/spin/control ratings, the review ratings, and the relatively inexpensive price tag in order to improve my game over the cheap rackets we were using, and here is what I found. The following comments are based on my experience. Keep in mind they are in regard to my personal play style and I hope that you are able to use the review to accurately gauge how you can use the racket: I have had this racket for two to three months. 1) This racket has a ton SPIN on it. It takes getting used to for the person using it, as well as the opponent. With very little movement, there is a great amount of spin placed on it. I find I can get many more points off of a well spun/placed serve, and can throw people off with the exaggerated spin in different directions while in play. (I use a lot of spin in my normal play, so I can control spin pretty well). 2) This racket has a ton of SPEED on it. So much speed that I have to re-learn how to slam it with my forehand. My backhand slam still works pretty well, but I can't keep it on the table with my forehand anymore. Prior to using this racket, I could return a slam from my opponent by stationary blocking, but now when they slam it, if I do that, it bounces back over the table completely. You would need to pull the paddle back as you blocked to try to reduce the return bounce, unless you can control the slam back, or change the angle of return appropriately. 3) The CONTROL on this racket is okay, but not great. Because of my difficulty with the speed, particularly when slamming, my control of the ball has shot down. I will require a lot more practice to gain the necessary control. My opponents: I play a two to three times a week for about 30-60 minutes. Prior to using Killerspin, my opponents often beat me overall, though sometimes I would win the majority of games. After using this racket, and getting some practice, and allowing my opponents to get used to it, I am hard to beat (they are at an intermediate level as well). You should know that I do not feel like I am any better at the game (in fact I feel as though I've lost skill). Adapting to this racket is difficult, and since I've lost so much control I don't slam as much. Without a doubt, though, it gives the ability to go from intermediate to pro if you can master the speed and control with the racket. The spin is very good, and I've enjoyed using it so far. I need a lot more practice in order to master it, but it's a very good racket. As a potential alternative, my friends bought an intermediate Stiga (I think the Supreme). I enjoyed using that one as well. It has less spin potential, and a lot less speed, but the control gain is very nice, in my opinion. I do not know which I prefer. I hope this helps!
Review: Great quality paddle - This purchase was experimental for me as it is my first personally owned table tennis paddle. I've played with a variety of paddles and had a pretty good idea about what I wanted. I was bouncing back and forth between the Jet 200 and the 400 and decided that the extra spin rating was worth the extra cost. A friend of mine bought the Jet 200, and I had a chance to do a side by side comparison with the 200 and 400 paddles. There is virtually no difference between the two paddles, and I'm not certain where the extra $20 goes for the 400. The paddle rubber seems identical, but the foam padding is a different color. I'm assuming the padding is a slightly different material which is where the slightly different speed/control/spin ratings factor in. He still beats me at a 3/2 game ratio even with the 200 so it's obvious that the extra $20 did not buy me any extra skill unfortunately. One small caveat to the super-tacky Killerspin rubber: So yea, you can spin the ball pretty easily now, but your paddle now reacts to your opponents spin that much greater. Be prepared to allow some adjustment time to get used to having to be more precise in responding to oncoming spin. The rubber will get dusty after a day or two of play and will not have the 'tack' it once had when you first removed it from the packaging. If you're picky, this can be remedied by rubbing some water on the rubber surfaces and patting it down with a lint free cloth of some sort. As far as the "poor quality" reports go, I'm not sure I can relate to such experiences. The paddle is of solid construction and the glue is good. I suppose experiences may vary depending on either how hard you play and how well you take care of your equipment. I've had a few run-ins with the paddle grazing, skidding, and bonking the table and the only evidence of it are small marks on the sticker covering the outer rim - no "rubber missing" or evidence of glue failing. Unless you're using your new paddle as a hammer or you're throwing the thing across the room in a fit of nerd-rage, I'm confident this paddle will last a while. I'm giving it a 5 because I'm impressed with the quality and I'm happy with the purchase overall.

## Questions & Answers

**Q: do you have panhold? (short handle)**
A: No I'm sorry, we do not carry any Panhold Rackets.

**Q: Is this the Shakehand or Penhold version?**
A: Shakehand FL handle.

**Q: Can i replace the rubber once they are worn out?**
A: Yes you can, but we advise you to be really careful while replacing the old rubber.

**Q: Why are the pics showing two different paddles? Which is accurate?**
A: I do not know why…..but in my case I received the one that says Jet400! Something to take into consideration is that in a short time of use, the paddle has lost a bit its ability to give the same effect, but even so for the price I think it's worth it!

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Very good paddle! impressive spin! and you can increase your style of play with it!!
*by I***. on May 17, 2018*

Very good paddle! I read every comments before buy it, and the really is (after 4 months using it): The hit of the racket with the ball has a slightly unpleasant sound but does not affect your style of play at all! It has a lot of spin, really impressive compared to my previous racket !!! and you have to get used to having more control of the poddle. but without doubt if you use a lower quality racquet than this one, you will notice the difference! but you will get used to using it and you will feel how your style of play improves. I recommend it 100%. Getting used to it will be the same every time you buy a new paddle, so you just have to take the risk and play with it, to feel how can it help you to improve your playing style!!!
