I purchased the Timetec 32GB Kit (4x8GB) DDR3L 1600MHz RAM for iMac to upgrade an older iMac that was starting to feel very slow, and it worked perfectly. Installation was straightforward and the memory was recognized immediately by the system with no issues. After the upgrade, the performance improvement was very noticeable. Applications open faster and multitasking is much smoother. This upgrade basically helped resurrect my old iMac and gave it a second life, especially when running multiple programs at the same time. Overall, this is a great and affordable memory upgrade for compatible iMac models, and I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking to improve the performance of an older machine.

I repurposed a 2013 iMac. I installed Zorin Linux and it was working really well, but I needed to do some virtualization and the 16Gb of RAM just wasn't quite enough. So I grabbed this 32Gb upgrade kit and I can definitely tell a positive difference in performance. Easy to install and the RAM has been running for a couple of months now with absolutely no issues. The price was great too!

Worked exactly as expected on my 2012 iMac 27 inch

I bought this memory for a late 2014 iMac 27" that I recently installed Ventura on. The stock 8GB was not going to do the job. This memory was recognized and works perfectly. It's a very easy and cheap upgrade that will keep my iMac working well for a while longer.

I am running late 2014 5K retina iMac as the engine behind a small project studio. I had purchased it with 8G total of RAM when I bought it and was able to process about 30 tracks in Logic Pro X each with multiple signal processing plugins. However when I started using Kontakt as a replacement to the Logic ProX drummer (still use the LPX drummer engine but the sound samples are mapped to Kontakt) I found that i would get a lot of static in the signal which would only exist when I had the Kontakt window open during play. I purchased four of these RAM cards to max out the ram in the iMac at 32GB (the most this model will accept) and found an improvement, albeit a small one in performance during mix down. These were readily installed into the iMac without a hitch and were accepted by the computer with no problems as all. Works as advertised and good quality product from what I can tell thus far.

We have a 27" (late 2012) model and it was getting so slow. I was about ready to toss it or give it to the kids and start over as we are nearing an 8 year mark. I am a photographer and use a lot of Adobe products and things like Bridge and Photoshop were taking forever to load and the spinning wheel (like the old hour glass) was taking forever all the time. I thought I would try and max out our RAM with this...got it next day from Amazon, and I was truly amazed how fast the Adobe programs came up and task within the program. I think this just breathed in new life for another period of time. If I actually hit 10 years with the same computer, it would be the first time ever as I was definitely a PC guy before this one but had to replace computers between 4-6 years. This RAM was definitively worth the $125.

I did not install this myself, but after the technician installed it, my computer worked like new. All the previous problems have disappeared.

Tres facile à installer, fonctionne du premier coup. A donné un vrai coup de fouet à mon imac de 2017, beaucoup plus rapide maintenant. Je pense gagner quelques années sur le changement de l'ordi...

Instalé este kit de 32GB (4x8GB) en mi iMac de 27” 5K y la compatibilidad ha sido perfecta. El equipo detectó los 32GB de RAM a la primera sin necesidad de hacer ningún ajuste adicional. La instalación fue sencilla y el rendimiento general ha mejorado notablemente al trabajar con varias aplicaciones abiertas. Muy buena opción para ampliar memoria en estos modelos de iMac.
