This is pure, organic shea butter. I am very pleased with my purchase. It is unscented and gentle on the skin, making it suitable for direct application or mixing with other organic products to achieve the desired results. It provides excellent moisture and is easy to use; it blends well and is not sticky. I use it to create my homemade moisturiser and sunscreen. I use it daily for eczema treatment. However, I haven't tried it on my hair, so I can't provide any feedback on hair use.

Texture is great and you can tell this is legitimate pure shea butter. As other reviews have said, however, there is a very particular smell. It reminds me of a farm and a bit like manure, bothered me at first but now I’m used to it. If you are sensitive to smells I wouldn’t recommend.

One ingredient moisturiser that does what it says. Exceptional moisturising properties from a humble product not so flamboyant but is undoubtedly a gem.

The consistency is lovely and melts down really easily. The only issue I have is the smell, it smells really strong almost like a farm animal smell to it. I’ve tried mixing it with other scented oils to see if it will dull the smell but it’s still very strong.

I purchased the vanilla and the mix of vanilla with the natural nutty smell of shea gives it a lovely smoky vanilla scent. The texture is perfect and I’m able to scoop it out without issue and warms easily in your hands to apply. Absolutely brilliant value for a full body moisturiser as the 400g will last ages as a little bit goes a really long way. I applied to my body immediately after opening and my skin is soft and comfortable and the vanilla scent is subtle and isn’t overpowering if you want to wear perfume as well. Definitely will be repurchasing, super pleased!
