I either wear and XL or in some things, a 1X...so I am between those two sizes. I wanted this to fit loose and it fits perfect as far as I am concerned. If you have a nice shape, I would maybe go one size up unless you want it really snug. I weigh 170 and I'm 5'3".Having clarified that, let me say that I love this swim/sun shirt expecially because of the v-neck which to me makes it much more comfortable and cooler feeling and looking for sitting on the beach and splashing around in the waves. I don't like showing my upper arms in public these days and so this shirt, along with the Bohn 3/4 capri swim leggings are perfect for me. I got the pants in size 14, I don't have much of a derriere but I do have a belly and these fit nice and snug, not too tight, just right. I plan to order two more colors in these shirts...and one more of the capri leggings, then I am set for a nice time at the beach without being self conscious! ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Perfect *by L***. on August 23, 2019* I bought this shirt to wear on a tropical vacation where everyone likes to hang out in the water for hours. It was perfect! The color was beautiful and the fabric didn't feel clingy in the water. I like that the shirt was form fitting but not too tight. The v neck and 3/4 length sleeves provided added protection from the sun but still felt fashionable. ### ⭐ A little too snug *by O***X on July 9, 2016* Way smaller than initially advertised.
