I apply Clinique face lotion before applying this. My face has not had any problems with redness or burning. It is not greasy. It absorbed and does not pill. It has made my face feel smoother. I’ve been using the CeraVe Anti‑Aging Retinol Serum for a couple weeks, and while I can’t see a big difference yet, I can definitely feel that it’s doing something. The texture is lightweight, it absorbs quickly, and it doesn’t irritate my skin. “Rufus” quotes a customer as saying that this serum is one percent retinol. However I could not find any info on the website or the packaging that stated the percentage of retinol. The product appears to be weak in retinol and doesn’t do a good job when it comes to anti aging. I’m going to stick with Paula’s Choice one percent retinol serum and similar serums that actually state how much retinol is in the product.
