Haiway 10.1 inch Security Monitor, 1366x768 Resolution Small HDMI Monitor

[Pros] I have been using this monitor to manage a few mini PCs of mine for a couple of month (install OS, fix remote access problems or change BIOS settings), and so far it works flawlessly. It has both VGA and HDMI, very lightweight and doesn't take much space. It came with a remote, HDMI cable, coax cable (yes, it has a coax connector as well!) and even a car power adapter. [Cons] Picture quality is okay (but I don't need much). The included stand is pretty low and gets in the way of HDMI connector a bit so hooking up Amazon TV Stick or Google Chromecast without a flexible extension cable (or a different stand) is tricky. Overall, it is a good value for money.

I's small for a TV, but I'm not big on watching TV. This is mounted on the wall beside my desk so it is close enough to be adequately large for me. Viewing angle is petty wide, the image is sharp and bright. The colors are saturates but not to excess, and the contrast is very good. The sound is...well, it sucks, but it's the best you're going to get from 1-inch speakers. If I could give it 4.5 stars because of the sound and lack of an audio output jack. But the sound is as good as youre going to get from tiny speakers and at least they're stereo. I'm happy with it and I would recommend it to a friend.

Overall happy with the unit. Can't give it 5 stars because the price I paid does not justify how cheap the unit feels. It is extremely light which may work well for some applications, but stiff video cables plugged into the unit may cause it to be unstable on it's featherweight stand. I am considering adding weight to the stand to make up for this. IMPORTANT INFO AMBIGUOUS RESOLUTION RATING: Advertised as 1366x768, the manual says 1920x1080. The manual does cover different size screen models. I can only assume that since this monitor does display 1920x1080, it is scaling down and the native resolution is indeed 1366x768. 1080p and even higher resolutions are available when hooked to a Windows PC. The seller should have listed the available scaled resolutions as it would expand the interest of buyers (I almost did not buy it for this very reason).

I was looking for a monitor to display the recordings on my DVD recorder as I made them, and that's exactly what this does. As I'm simply checking visuals the unit's sound quality is unimportant but the picture quality is and this one's perfect. Setup menus can be a minefield. This one wasn't. The AV hookup went without a hitch. The remote is simple and to the point with only six buttons including the clearly identified red on/off power control. I'm a happy camper.

This little monitor is just what I needed. I have stacks and stacks of old movies on DVD and wanted something portable and easy to use to hook up to my DVD player so I could watch those old movies. This monitor is PERFECT! I sit it on my nightstand right on top of a compact DVD player, so I can watch movies in bed! Picture quality is clear and crisp. I like that it can be adjusted/tilted. With the addition of the included headphone jack output, I can listen on some wireless stereo headphones (which makes the speaker quality even better) that can be hooked up to the monitor through a little transmitter. Excellent little device. I highly recommend!

I needed a display for certain folks to see, but without letting them actually handle my $1,000 iPad. I’ve used it with a TV and 22” monitor without problem, but got no image from this thing. Just attaching the power cables resulted in cracking and popping sounds which were repeated anytime you got near the cable. I can see screen displays, at least temporarily, but nothing stays. Pressing the menu button on the monitor or the remote only flashes the menu briefly on the screen before it goes away. Same thing with the other options and buttons. Space is tight to insert the HDMI cable. The supplied cable barely fits and it has flat sides. Anything molded with more contour isn’t going to plug in. I guess I’ll be looking for my 4th solution (one was a test, one my boss said was too big, and this one doesn’t work).

I bought this for my security system. It works great. Clear picture. Great price.

Pretty good little TV. I wanted a screen to use when I stay in my car as I travel alot. Good size cause it can sit up on the dash. Works well with the Raspberry Pi but the picture is not stretched. Sits about 1/2" within the bezels. Good enough for practicing on Python if you use Mu and zoom in. -- I'm also using it to use Roku, get an HDMI extention cable though otherwise the Roku stick will block the stand from sitting properly. Also you have to go to the menu sometimes and reset the picture settings to default or when the Roku tries to display at 24hz you'll see a broken picture cause the TV is always at 60hz. This happens with Amazon video and each new episode that plays requires this reset. (very annoying) Viewing angles are pretty awful but okay for one person. The three stars are for the fact that it comes with a 12v plug in for car or trucks. No need for a power converter which is nice. Also it has lots inputs mentioned in the description, it fails to mention it has 3.5mm headphone jack which is great for aux cable for car stereo. The built in speakers sound like a tin can so you'll wanna use this feature. Good enough for the price but I'll likely shop around again and spend a little more.

It works like it should and is small and compact. Perfect for a discreet desktop security monitor.

Easy setup. I use it for a computer that needs to be on at all times, yet I only occasionally need to attend to it. This monitor helps by being small and out of the way, yet big enough to see what is going on with the computer.

Lasted 2 days before it fell apart.
