Great First Binoculars
My first pair of binoculars and I think they're great value for the price. It's not just binoculars you get a tripod, phone attachment, bag, straps, etc. The binoculars themselves are solid. Pretty clear, easy to operate. I have seldom used high end binoculars so I can't speak to those differences, but for starting to get into birdwatching they check every box for me. The tripod is awesome because you can collapse the legs and they are designed to be rounded and well-fitting to the hand, so you can basically use it as a hand support or way to stabilize the binoculars. Really happy with these.

These are so good. Especially for the price. They are lightweight and the clarity is excellent.

Perfect hunting and nature watching binoculars
I purchased these binoculars to bring with me when I go deer hunting. What I enjoy most about hunting is sitting in the peaceful wilderness and watching the animals around me. These binoculars will keep me entertained all day and allow me to up close to the animals and mother nature. I'm no expert on optics but these binoculars the glass seems really clear and allow me easily focus in on objects the size of a bird and see great details in those objects up to 200 yards away. I'm near sighted and wear glasses. I'm able to wear my glasses and use these binoculars with my glasses on. You just need to turn the rear eye cup adjustments clockwise while wearing glasses and it provides a nice wide field of view. I was pleasantly surprised to find out I could also use these binoculars with my glasses off. I just had to adjust the rear eye cups counter clockwise and then adjust the center focus adjustment to compensate for my poor eyesight with glasses off. I was able to clearly see objects 200-300 yards away while not wearing my glasses and just using these binoculars. For being 12X, I found these binoculars were relatively compact, felt good in my hands, not too bulky and not too small. They are nice and light and feel good around my neck when using the included strap. I also tried out the included phone adapter with the binoculars and my Samsung Galaxy S9 phone. It was simple to setup and use. To get a rectangular picture, I just set my phone's zoom to 1.5x. I included a picture with these setting in my review. The bird in the picture was about 35 yards away. I took the picture while holding the setup in my hands. I'm certain I could get an even clearer picture of mounting it on a tripod using the binoculars included tripod mount. I'm really unsure what extra you would get from binoculars which cost 5-7 times more than these but I'm completely satisfied with everything these binoculars provide. I'm certain I will enjoy using them observing the wilderness around me while sitting in my deer hunting blind.

Binoculars are great, attachments are useless!
I bought these binoculars for an upcoming Alaskan cruise. I thought having the phone and binocular attachment would be perfect for getting some great pictures and videos, especially for whale watching. Well, that's not the case. The binoculars are great, clear, crisp viewing but...the attachments not so great. I'm really disappointed. The tripod gives to much shake for videos. When you attach the phone attachment to the binoculars it keeps moving because of the left binocular lens adjustment that you have to attach it to doesn't stay in place - very frustrating. Needless to say, I'll only be taking the binoculars on vacation. The attachments for me are useless.

Advice for 1st-Time Users
The birds, fish, frogs, and turtles in my neighborhood have become my new friends since social distancing began, and these binoculars have been spectacl-ar in helping me identify them. I’d never used binoculars before this new hobby, so here are some things I’ve learned that might be helpful to first-time users: Binoculars always have two numbers in the spec, AxB. A represents the magnification – the bigger the number, the more zoomed-in the image looks. B represents the size of the objective lens, which is the piece of glass at the far end of the binoculars. The bigger the number, the brighter and clearer the image looks. They also have a focus wheel that sits between the two halves, which you’ll have to rotate depending on whether you want to focus on something close or super far away. There’s also usually an additional fine tuner on the right eyepiece that will allow you to adjust for differences between your two eyes. So when using a pair of binoculars for the first time, you should close your right eye and use the focus wheel for just your left eye, and then close your left eye and use the fine tuner for your right eye. After that you can just directly use the focus wheel. I had an old pair of Bushnell 12x25 binoculars at home before I got this Adasion 12x42 set. Here’s a comparison, with things I learned from experience: 1/ Size: The Adasion is bigger because of the larger objective lens. You can see the size difference in my first picture. 2/ Eyepiece: The Adasion has eye cups that rotate in and out, which give your eyes some breathing distance from the eyepiece lenses. You can see in the second picture the right eye cup has been extended while the left one has not. The Bushnell didn’t have this feature, so my eyelashes were always brushing against the glass, and the glass itself would frequently fog up. 3/ Straps: This seems like a trivial one, but it bothered me more than I expected. Bushnell’s straps attach at the center, while Adasion’s straps attach on each side. This results in the Bushnell hanging somewhat perpendicular to my torso, which makes it really annoying as it bounces along while I walk. The Adasion just lies comfortably flush against my torso. 4/ Protective covers: You can see these in the first picture. Each objective lens has an individual rubber cover that hangs off the end. If you don’t like them, you can remove them – they’re attached by a rubber ring that slides off easily. But I think they’re great and protect the glass from smudges. The eyepiece lenses have a joint cover that you take off completely; I only put it back on when I’m done for the day. 5/ Picture quality: The most important difference. You can see four pictures I took through both binoculars. Interestingly, I found that the Bushnell binoculars were very slightly more magnified than the Adasion. I actually prefer the wider field of view of the Adasion, which is more forgiving of unsteady hands. The Bushnell also starts to get blurry on the edges (see the fence and bench or the floating grass in the fish photo), while the Adasion is much clearer throughout. In addition, colors are a lot brighter through the Adasion, while the Bushnell is a bit faded. This brings me to my last piece of advice: the smartphone adapter is pretty cool. I had no idea what a phone adapter was in the beginning – I assumed it was some kind of USB cable that digitally connected the binoculars to your phone, and you’d have to download an app or something to take pictures. Nope. So apparently, you can just hold up your phone camera to the eyepiece of any binoculars, have your phone “look” through the binoculars (monocular?), and you simply use the camera app to snap whatever your phone sees. It works surprisingly well as an amateur telephoto lens. That’s all I did to take the pictures from the Bushnell. Turns out though, it’s kind of hard to hold the binoculars in one hand, your phone in the other, and both steady enough while maneuvering your thumb to snap the photo. It’s flat out impossible to take video. So the purpose of this phone adapter is to make it easier by holding your phone in place. It’s a very simple piece of hardware with a spring-loaded clamp around your phone (both an iPhone 6s and iPhone 11 fit just fine) and a round cap that attaches to either of the binoculars’ eye cups. For best results, attach your phone without the eye cups extended. Righty tighty all the way. I find that provides the optimal phone-to-eyepiece distance for the best view from the camera. I also did some extra research on phone adapters and tried to buy one for my Bushnell. The universal circular ones have a screw cap where the attachment can be expanded or contracted in order to fit any eye cup. But I actually found that the screw mechanism made the attachment so thick that my phone camera was too far away from the eyepiece to see much through it – all I got was a small hole. In contrast, the adapter that comes with the Adasion was built to fit the Adasion eye cups perfectly. It’s a nice snug fit so your phone (even a heavy iPhone 11) will stay in place at just the right distance from the lens and without needing any hand support. The last thing I’ll say about the phone adapter is not to be surprised that your picture is a circle in a black vignette. That makes sense, since that’s what you see when your eyes look through the binoculars too. The rectangular photos from other reviews can be produced by either zooming using the camera’s zoom function or just cropping after the fact. Okay that’s as much as I’ve learned so far through my amateur explorations, hope you’ve found it helpful. :)

Adasion 12 x 42 Binoculars - Great Value for your Money
For the money, these are great binoculars. I didn't want to pay $200-$400. The BAK4 prisms do an outstanding job with clarity and sharpness. The lens have full-multi-coated (FMC) lenses, which improve the brightness, sharpness and is anti-reflective. I bought these for hiking and was looking for something powerful yet not too heavy, so I went with the roof prism design. I've used them in full daylight and dusk and am impressed with the performance. The big lens let's a lot of light in! Feels solidly built, the wheel for focusing is smooth. The right eye independent focus is nice an tight. It weighs a little over 1lb (1.2lbs) and fits in a 5.5" x 7" case which has a side pouch for the phone adapter. I've used this adapter a couple of times. Not the easiest thing to line up, but once you do the pictures come out surprisingly well, although you get the circle and haziness around the edges. So you need time to align it, set it on, and take a picture. I've read where they now have an upgraded version of this adapter. Anyway this was a nice add on to the purchase. A preference on my part would be to have the one piece eye lens cover tethered. There are loops in the cover, so I ended up tethering it to where the strap attaches to the body of the binoculars. Comes with a 2 year warranty, 6-mo hassle free return & exchange. Bottom line I'm very happy with it. Great value for the money.

Fantastic deal and nice quality
As a novice I appreciate the info in the reviews for helping me find these. The instruction pamphlet is easy to understand and the accessories are fantastic. They give you an extra strap and a lifetime warranty. These are bargain compared to other name brand for a hundred fifty bucks or more and now I know why they have so many high reviews

Binoculars Okay, Phone Adapter/Tripod Not Great.
Binoculars are alright however I would add the following considerations… 1. Phone adapter. I have an iPhone 13 Pro Max and it was a pain to use the phone adapter. You have to completely remove your phone protective case (Casetify in my instance) and set up the adapter. Even then the phone is still too heavy for the tripod and phone adapter. I think it’s a nice concept but if you have an iPhone 12 (I don’t know about Android / Google phones) or above you can get just as good of photos without using the binoculars (and less shaky than using the small tripod.) 2. The binocular case is pretty flimsy and will only hold your binoculars and the cleaning cloth. Don’t think you’re getting the small tripod or phone adapter in the case. That’s sort of a pain bc if you wanted to use them you have to carry them separately and also they are stored separately unless you’re keeping everything in the box they arrived in. Overall these are a nice set of binoculars but I probably wouldn’t have purchased them if I knew about numbers 1 and 2 above. In my instance, they are really only useful to me as binoculars but I wanted to be able to use them to take close up and stable photos of birds and other outdoor visitors. Something to keep in mind depending on what your expectations are.

Best Binocular
Very good binocular, it comes with all necessary accessories. Quality is very good. It is light, compact and great result. Star gazing is easy and my kids also loved it. I have also taken good pictures with phone adapter. I will say phone adapter is really good and once your camera is fit to the hole then no more hassle.

Sensacionales
