I really enjoyed using this mount until 1 day the large screw broke and within 6 months of purchase. There isn't an option to email the seller to see if they would replace or send me the screw and bolt to keep using the mount, now I either purchase a new one or keep using it as is. My only disappointment is that it broke less than a year after having the product. I purchased Feb of this year and it broke in May. Other than that, great product.

OK here goes save your money or buy something that doesn’t hang on the mirror all the little parts that tighten really well in the beginning are going to wear and also the heat or sunlight if you leave it hanging in your mirror will weaken the plastic I mean you get what you get when you pay for cheap plastic but what they advertise in the photos it’s not the same thing it’s cheap in poorly made. The little teeth that grab onto the mirror if your mirror is really slippery it will not fit correctly doesn’t matter how hard you push them down to lock them in place at some point in time it will come on lodged or unhinged to your mirror I would suggest getting the one that goes clips onto the middle of your steering wheel or the one that goes on the dashboard or spend A decent amount of money and get one at sections to the windshield in the corner I am not a fan of those but to each his own Hope this helps save your money.

I am awarding the phone holder mount a 4-star rating because of price and construction. The device gets a point deducted for less than optimal design. When used with a phone that has a thin phone case on it the spring-loaded clamps do not grip the phone as snugly and securely as necessary. A redesign should include extending and angling the clamps for an adequately firm hold. Though I haven't had my LG Stylo 6 pop out of the holder yet, I can never get the phone to rest flush against the back of the phone holder. I suspect that a big enough bump will jostle the poorly angled phone loose from the phone holder.

A phone mount below the mirror seemed like a great idea, but I ended up finding it too distracting during routine driver scanning. Closer to, or just below, top of the dashboard is just as easy to check and not in the way or distracting — for me anyway. This was for an iPhone 13 in a '91 'Yota Hilux. I don't consider that mirror large at all, but it was a force fit for this clamp. Didn't break anything, but I could have. The clamps were deep enough for the mirror, but the way they adjust is to stick out into the passenger space instead of behind the mirror — so I had to cut off 1/2" of excess from each of the four corners to make a presentable installation. It is also a force fit for iPhone 13 in an Otterbox. Even with a tight fit, the phone is too heavy to remain in vertical position by holding only the sides. I wanted a horizontal orientation, and the clamp was secure for that. Ok, so it's in. Vibrates too much while the vehicle is in motion. Maybe barely tolerable on good pavement or at slow speeds. On mediocre pavement at speed, or gravel pretty much any time, it's a jackhammer. Worse than the effect on the phone, shaking transfers to the mirror, impairing its utility. That did it for me. DISCLAIMER: The breakaway mount of my rearview does allow a tiny bit of motion which I cannot tighten out of the fitting — that makes no discernible motion in ordinary use, but it becomes s a pretty big deal when magnified by the weight of the phone. I'm not sure whether flexing of the mount itself would allow problematic vibration. If your mirror is rock solid, maybe it would remain that way with the phone on it.

I finally found a cell phone holder that actually works. I have gone through so many different brands in the past. They would fall apart after a few months. Or the worst - they would come flying off with my phone while I was driving. This one is sturdy. It was easy to install. I set it up once & have left it up there - it is not in the way whether I use it or not. You do have to use both hands to put your phone in it because it does have a snug fit. I also accidentally called 911 on my first few days of use. Its a snug fit & takes some getting used to it. You just need to make sure you don’t close it onto the phone buttons. Way better than any other car cell phone holder I have had. I highly recommend. Very happy with my purchase

The nut for the cell phone cradle was missing so I couldn't tighten the swing mount at the bottom. The whole thing mounted to the mirror just fine but without the nut to tighten the holding bracket for the phone, it would have been junk. I had to fashion a small nut to make it work. I understand this was a used/pre-owned item but it's disappointing it wasn't all there. But I got it to work. Install in TIGHT, but got it on OK and it looks OK when mounted, barely fits newer muti-function rearview mirrors. Spring-loaded mounts look like they bend under the effort to cradle the mirror. Mount to hold the phone is also TIGHT but that's good so your device doesn't fall out hitting a small bump or a freeway expansion joint. When the phone is removed the mount arm can be rotated backwards out of the way. It's too bad it wasn't a little bit longer. Most folks will need to mount their phone horizontally/landscape instead of vertically/portrait since the pads that hold the phone might activate the buttons on whatever side of your device they might be on. A good product, would have rated better if not for the missing nut. Hard to say what the long term reliability will be but time will tell. Bang for the buck - it's OK.

When I say a little difficult to install, it's because the Chrysler 300 has a massive rear view mirror PLUS it is connected to another massive device. So there was not much space between to maneuver. I had to struggle with the gripping mechanism, but once I figured out how to get them on, it is on there to stay. There is a bit of a limitation imposed on the mirror's range of motion, but nothing that impairs view in our case. It was for my wife's car and she's happy with where she can put her phone and not have it fall off as with the previous device (suction cup that didn't suck all that well, which, ironically, sucked). :-) If it fits on your vehicle, it's worth getting. I don't think the phone position impairs view significantly. My wife likes this solution. In summary: Like: Product works as advertised. Worth the install effort. Dislike: A little difficult to install on the 2016 Chrysler 300.

Great product, arrived quick and is very durable, only disadvantage is that the piece that holds the phone so it can swivel up and down dont tighten up enough and the phone continues to tilt downwards so I have to continue lifting it, other then that all is good so far..
