great finish
Osmo Door Wood Wax Oil 3033, Raw Matt Finish I bought this product for three doors. There was a strong smell for the first two days, but the finish is excellent. The doors look natural and very good.

Brilliant!
I thought it was expensive but I went with the reviews. They were right. It goes on so easily and looks beautiful when it's on. It really brings out the grain and transforms the doors. It also takes only a tiny amount to do 1 door. Such good value. A recommended buy.

Makes Oak doors look lovely
Used on my previously oiled interior doors and it matched the finish perfectly. I applied to sanded doors with a roller and wiped off after 15-20 minutes, to give it time to absorb into the wood.. They took no less than 12 hours to fully dry and the odor of the oil did not subside for about a week in the house. Good product that is easy to use and give a nice finish.

Does exactly what it says on the tin.
I swayed over what product to get for my doors. I didn't want to change the colour and after looking at the other osmo option, decided I didn't want a sheen. I chose the Raw matt finish and it's exactly what I got. So far I've oiled 1 coat on 3 doors and 1 set of double doors and there's still loads left. It keeps the oak colour but just gives it a warmth.

Good but can smell a bit
This stuff is great but can smell a bit, deffinatly needs some open doors in the summer and leave for a day, but once on protects the door or wood surface very well, easy to wipe and keep clean after applying

Easy to apply
This is so easy to apply to bare wood. I have treated 11 hung doors both sides with one tin.

Buy the Osmo brushes.
I’m not a professional decorator and was a bit apprehensive oiling my newly fitted doors (5no). I bought the Osmo brushes and a pack of lint free cloths. After pouring the Osmo into a small paint roller tray I applied a thin first coat , didn’t need to use the cloths. Gave it two days to fully dry and applied a second thin coat. No need to sand between coats! The product is great to use, it is dry in 24 hours, brushes cleaned in white spirits and the finish is amazing. Buy the brushes, they’re great.

Covers well with good results
We had 12 new doors fitted and were advised we’d probably need 1.5l to complete the job. I purchased 2 tins and in the end we ‘just’ got all 12 doors done with one coat using 1litre. Again after advice we used a rolled up microfibre cloth to apply the main body but I also used a narrow paint brush to get the oil into the wooden grooves. This worked well. My only negative point odd the odour. It’s been one week since we’re did the job and the house still has the odour lingering and the first couple of nights after doing it was overpowering trying to sleep with the fumes. No doubt of we’d completed the job in the summer with the windows open all day it would have been better. Something to consider if you’re attempting this in the winter months like we did. End result Is good and we are satisfied with it.
