NYX PROFESSIONAL MAKEUP Butter Gloss, Non-Sticky Lip Gloss - Vanilla Cream Pie (Mauve)

I’ve bought the NYX Butter Gloss in various shades, including Sugar Glass (clear), four times now, and I absolutely love it! It’s the perfect balance of glossy without being sticky. The formula is smooth, super comfortable, and leaves my lips feeling soft. I love how it adds a beautiful, shiny finish without overwhelming color—perfect for everyday wear. Plus, it’s affordable but feels high-end. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a versatile and reliable lip gloss!

The color is very pretty. Your lips will stay moisturized. It’s not matte so your clothes will mess up if not careful. It last for a good while

I normally shy away from lip glosses because so many of them feel just like thick, sticky goop that’ll stick to your hair. I also didn’t really think much of the name “butter gloss” because people will literally call any makeup product buttery these days. But because of the price point and the many promising reviews I’d seen online, I decided it wouldn’t hurt to try it out for myself. They weren’t kidding: this stuff both looks good AND feels good on the lips! I keep reapplying it not because the color’s gone, not because it dried out my lips, but because it feels good to put on (smells nice too, haha). In this picture I’m wearing the Summer Fruit gloss with the lip liner they suggest as a color match, the Slim Lip Pencil in 816 Fuschia, which I also recommend.(Also ignore the bad contouring in this picture, was testing out a new brush…)

pros:- really smooth formula- when the shade is darker (I've gotten a ginger snap one), it blurs lip lines and looks phenomenal; kinda hard to describe, but like a creamy glow---it's just really pretty- doubles as a sheer glowy blush, kinda tacky if you do thocons:- I got sugar high, which was just a tad bit lighter than my skin tone, which isn't a huge problem when I apply it with a light hand, but I find that applying it like I usually do results in the formula slightly settling into lip lines and an all around not super pleasant appearance- not really long lasting, but it shouldn't be a problem if you're willing to reapplyconclusion: get a darker shade. although I may pass on sugar high as a lippie, I use it as a blush and I really like the look. thinking of getting brownie drip next.

I love trying new lipsticks from high endbrands to the less expensive ones. This product did have a buttery feel for the lips like they advertise. My lips definitely feelmoisturized but not STICKY at all!!! I wanted a high pigment color that was not overwhelming that looked natural. This absolutely did this for me. It covered my lips so well with a nice natural shade. I purchased the strawberry cheesecake shade and I think it would look good on any skin color. It’s not overwhelming but still highly pigmented.It’s very soft & long lasting. Unlike pricer brands I will definitely be buying other colors..

The color is beautiful and the scent is amazing! It's one of my all-time favorites, and I keep coming back for more. Smooth, lightweight, and perfect for everyday wear. Highly recommend!

Very pigmented so I can only do a few dabs, but besides that it’s really pretty. I would say it needs enhancing because it isn’t moisturizing and it doesn’t last long. Definitely don’t have to worry about it staining.
