I used my original bolts not the included ones. *by D***M on Reviewed in the United States on May 30, 2021* I installed this in my Eljer 2197 toilet (made in 1989), using tank to bowl assembly instructions for Eljer 2502. The seal gave a good solid mount on the bowl, and no leaks when flushed. When I started to pull the seal on over the spud nut, at first the bolt holes in the arms on the seal did not line up with the holes in the tank bottom, but as I continued to tug on the seal to get it fully seated all the way around, the holes eventually lined up perfectly. The rubber washers gave a good seal. I reused my old brass bolts because they had a larger diameter head than the included bolts, though the included ones might have worked OK. And I used my old brass washers and wingnuts at bottom instead of the included hex nuts, because I wanted hand-tight to be enforced. I found that getting the bolts in was tricky because of tight clearance to the canister in my tank. I had to put each of the two rubber washers on the bottom of the tank, then put the bolt through it, then screw the bolt through the tight hole in the arm on the seal. This resulted in a nice assembly of the tank plus seal plus rubber washers and bolts, which I could then seat on the bowl and tighten down with washers and wingnuts. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great Quality works Excellent for Elger toilets. *by T***. on Reviewed in the United States on February 11, 2020* I learned that Elger toilets are no longer being made and (VERY IMPORTANT), none of the universal tank seals fits properly, tried 3 different ones and they all leaked because they were not Eljer specific. Once I got this seal installed, NO LEAK.As an added not, the Eljer design is by FAR the best tank seal design, I'm a handyman, so I've seen this kind of thing before.
