Good beginner's guide especially for those like me are poor sight readers.

This book is amazing! It allowed me to move beyond a guitar plateu and made me excited again. Sight reading is hard, however the author manages to deftly balance challenging exercises while keeping things interesting. The progression is very balanced, so every lesson is slightly more difficult than the previous, but not frustratingly so. It is funny to see how things that were impossible the previous week start to become more reasonable, while new things start difficult and become achievable. Highly recommended!
