It is stainless steel, double-walled but fairly light so is easy to carry, especially for my young (4 year old) grandson. It kept water chilled for many hours. The only slight problem is that the "mouthpiece" is a soft, silicon straw that is vulnerable to chewing through by a child, rather than a more solid mouthpiece that is found on other makes. This would not be a problem if Kooyi sold a replacement part. When I asked them for a replacement for the bitten mouthpiece they very kindly gave me a voucher for a whole new bottle. This was very nice of them but not the best or economic solution. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ No leaks or spills *by S***. on 18 May 2017* I keep this at my bedside in case I wake with a dry throat after a heavy night on the beers. Keeps water a lot cooler than a plastic bottle. I like that the top flips open at the push of a button revealing the rubber drinking spout/straw, which is convenient and easy to drink from - no doubt great if you're on, say, a bumpy car journey - no spills. At 500ml the capacity is just right. The item was a little larger than I pictured, but that's just me - I underestimated how large it would need to be to hold the best part of a pint of liquid. The design is nice too & no leaks so far. ### ⭐⭐⭐ Does at it says on the tin- keeps drinks hot ... *by D***E on 2 December 2017* Does at it says on the tin- keeps drinks hot for ages. Not sure whether this part is normal (?), but have to be careful when opening the straw part for the first time after it's been refilled as it spits hot drink at you. A bit of a worry if you're not expecting it, as generally you would have it near your face ready to drink from. There is also the risk of the hot drink spilling onto your clothes. --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.sn/products/157611390-kooyi-vacuum-insulated-sports-water-bottle-500-ml-stainless-steel](https://www.desertcart.sn/products/157611390-kooyi-vacuum-insulated-sports-water-bottle-500-ml-stainless-steel) --- *Product available on Desertcart Senegal* *Store origin: SN* *Last updated: 2026-10-01*
