Saved me a few hundred dollars
I purchased a 1st generation JBL Boombox and had it about a year. When the battery stopped charging. So went on youtube and researched to see if I could find any similar instances. Which I did and all the videos lead me to a poorly connected cable or the need to replace the battery pack. So I took my boombox all apart and checked the cable connection, tested the battery for continuity and voltage. Both checked out fine. So I wasn’t sure what else it could be. I was thinking maybe a circuit board or something like that. So I put it all back together and was going to send it back to have it refurbished. But a friend of mine who had the same problem with his boombox. Said He tried a friend of his battery charger on his and it started charging his Boombox. So I thought what the hell. I’ll try it and see if it charges mine. I was so stoked it started charging mine. So it all turned out that there was nothing wrong with the boombox. It was the charger all along. So I am happy to say this little gem saved me a lot of hard earned money as well as time. I highly recommend buying this if you find out your problem is just a bad charger with you JBL Boombox.Hope this was helpful

Bought it for a JBL Extreme 2
My original charger stopped working so I needed a replacement.I’ve had it for a few weeks now and it’s still working perfectly it’s a good quality product.(Year and a half update charger still works like a champ)

Works with JBL boombox
Works with our have JBL boombox. Our original charger quit working after less than a year. I tried purchasing a different one on Amazon and it didn't work, JBL support was going to charge nearly $75 for a new charger, which I had no faith in since our original charger did not even last a year and the price from JBL is a little ridiculous. Glad we found this one. We can now return to jamming out 😊

That it works!!
I had a JBL speaker that I really like. One day I was working in the yard, I forgot the cord was still plugged in when I shut the sliding door. Yep, you guessed it. It cut the wire right in half. That speaker sat in my garage for a year trying to decide whether I should just throw it away or not. My 15-year-old son found this product online and told me to buy it and my speaker would be fine. He was right!! The only flip side is that now I find it in his room all the time, LOL
