Vanderfields Adult/Teens Ear Defenders, Noise Cancelling, Army Green

Perfect. Quite tight fitting, but I like the squeeze (feels good on my neurodivergent little head but may cause discomfort on larger heads). Can watch a video on my phone at 2ft from my head with the sound just under 50% and at most I could barely hear a muffled sound. These are ideal for drowning out the noise of the street when you're trying to regulate and reset. Less irritating than earplugs, but you probably couldn't sleep with these on! Definitely a daytime use item.

Fantastic, I struggle a lot with loud/constant/shrill noise and they drown out so much of it. I was surprised how good they are considering the price! I could do with them being a bit bigger but I’m still really happy with them for this price!

Great ear defenders. Had a lot of chiseling to do removing old bricks outside for a couple of weeks. Metal hammer on metal chisel. Ears were hurting after just a few minutes so I knew I needed ear protection or would do serious damage. Ordered these and they're brilliant. Effectively cut out all dangerous noise and can hammer away for ages without any discomfort or damage to ears.

These do a good job of cutting out noise but boy are they tight on the head so make wearing somewhat uncomfortable for long periods. If I really don't want to hear things I also wear wax earplugs and the combo works really well.

These Ear Muffs were bought for 🪏🏡 gardening ✂️ cutting grass and the hedges. The green 💚 colour reminded me of my time in Military 🪖 Aviation and would look good 👍 on the flight 🛫 line. Wish I had them at RIAT 2026. I wear them all the time and when my wife talks to me I can't hear 🙉 her. The box 🎁 is great for stretching the ear defenders as per the instructions. They fit very well but a bit tight for anyone with a big head. Thanks Vanderfields great product will buy again, maybe buy the double set in Marine Blue 🔵. I'm sure they will be very comfortable when stressed. DW.

This product is excellent. It really does protect your hearing when using tools & machinery. They also fit comfortably & can be easily adjusted for fit to size. Really good value for the price!

Great ear defenders. They’re perfect, and not only to protect against sound damage, but also to help to shield you from distraction. I’ve only worn them once, and they seemed comfortable, albeit they were not on long. But, all seems great, so far

I got a pair of Vanderfields Ear Defenders to use while working with garden machinery, and at first, they were a solid choice. The noise reduction was dramatic—loud mowers, hedge cutters and strimmers got dialled way back, making the whole experience much more bearable. They were also reasonably comfy to wear, even for longer sessions out on the job. Unfortunately, the good times didn’t last. After a couple of months of regular use, the clips on the sides started wearing down. Pretty soon, the earpieces kept popping off, which was annoying and made them useless for protecting my hearing. It’s disappointing because they worked so well initially, but the lack of durability let them down. I’d hesitate to recommend them unless you only need something short-term or for occasional use.

It drowns out most of the noise, but not so much that you can't hear PA announcements. Good fit, too.

I purchased these earmuffs to deal with working from home and sharing an office with my hubby. When he talks, I listen, and then I don't get any work done. I looked for a pair that would fit my deceptively small head, be comfortable, work with my earbuds, and be cute. These hit 3 out of 4! I have a small head - I generally have to buy teen or "small" labeled hats and sunglasses. These earmuffs fit me perfectly. They have enough tension to seal tightly (can sometimes feel like I have a pressurized cup on my ears) without squishing my head. I am kinda sensitive to pressure on my head, I can get headaches from having my hair tied back too tightly, so the right amount of tension was important to me. I can wear these for hours without getting a headache from the tension. There is sufficient padding around the ears and the band over the head has a nice moveable pad (more on that later). So for, comfort-wise 5/5. These earmuffs definitely muffle the sound. They are not noise-canceling, there are no electronics or speakers, just foam and good design. With them on, I cannot hear my husband speaking other than a low mumble (6 ish ft away and him not trying to be quiet at all; not loud enough to distract me) and I cannot hear my dogs barking or "talking" to me. I have a pair of Siberian Huskies and they love to talk to us and each other. They also want to have "howl time" at least twice per day, where they howl together for no apparent reason other than it is fun. We joke that our younger Siberian Husky has a "doppler attack" because his bark can hurt your ears when he wants something. I see his Husky mouth move, but I don't hear him. So quiet! Muffling function - 5/5. I also use earbuds to listen to music/white noise when I'm working. The earbuds fit into my ears and the earmuffs go right over them. I don't notice the cord from the earbuds that connects to their Bluetooth neck rest - again the tension is perfect for that. I can hear the music/white noise and that removes any lingering distracting sounds that make it through the earmuffs. Works with my earbuds - 5/5 Fits my tiny head - check! Are comfortable and I can wear them for extended periods of time - check! Can be used comfortably with earbuds - check! Are cute - not so much - 2/5 for cuteness. They come in various colors, so that counts for something. I couldn't find any earmuffs that would serve my purposes and be cute, so I had to improvise. I ordered a set of Hair Clip Cat Ears (also from Amazon ~$6 -->ASIN: B0894PXJG1) thinking I would superglue them onto the earmuffs. To my delight, the padded band on the top of the earmuffs had enough room to slide the clips on without needing the glue. The clips attach on top and stay put phenomenally. The padded top part fits around the headband part without being attached. It won't come off without completely removing the ear cups, but it slides around on the band to adjust the fit. When the earmuffs are on, the padding stays put. Slide on cat ear clips and viola! cute noise-muffling earmuffs. To sum up, these earmuffs work great for my needs and with a small additional purpose are cute to wear.
