I have found that the Nature Gnaws Paddywack sticks are long lasting and a healthy natural alternative. The pieces are random in thickness, width and length and after going through one bag I have learned what size and thickness will keep my dogs busy for a while. I have a pair of industrial scissors that I can carefully cut the wider sticks along the "grain" to divide them in half. These seem to be a bit more brittle than rawhide as I can hear my dog crunching on them but so far they are the best long-lasting alternative to rawhide that I have found. They are a bit pricey but not as much as other rawhide alternatives when you consider how long they keep your best buddies busy.

I was looking for an alternative to rawhide that my dogs didn't chew up in a few minutes. I have found that the Nature Gnaws Paddywack sticks are long lasting and a healthy natural alternative. PLEASE READ THESE RATINGS!!! These are horrible!!! They break into little pieces that feel like pieces of glass. I sat on of the little pieces and it almost actually pierced my leg!! Does this company actually believe I would give something like this to my dog? I'm lucky I found that before it caused problems. I just pray people will read these ratings and not purchase these.
