Round Cigar Hygrometer - Humidor & Cigar Box/Cabinet 2 inch Gold

decent enough to trust the reading and keep my cigar humidor balanced...

first time using this brand, all good so far

Love it!

I have a good humidor. The hygrometer that came with it worked for many years. However lately it seems to be stuck on 60 and it didn't have an adjustment screw. My humidor isn't really large, 25 sticks. So I bought this one and put it in the humidor with a small digital one . The new one is within 2 points of the digital so I'm not going to do any adjustments. It looks just like the picture. Now I'm not a big cigar aficionado but I do buy some decent cigars and do not want to ruin them. I think it's a good buy and addition to my humidor.

When I bought this product, it came out of the box with a reading of 50 so I learned how to calibrate before using. I read instructions on Calibrating. I wastched videos and tried to learn as much as possible and then followed instructions on calibrating but no matter what I do, the reading stuck at 50. I even gave it a gentle tap in case the needle was stuck during shipping. I must have tried calibration about 20 times before I reminded myself of the definition of insanity, So I finally gave up, set the needle to 75 and stuck it into my humidor with my cigars and a boveda. As of writing this review I still have the same result. Translation, it doesn't work Fortunately, it is not a expensive product. Can't wait to buy a digital hygrometer. Maybe I'll be luckier

Stays very accurate after a number of years. I keep a digital and this in my humidor because I had extra in a pack and they both read the same. I’m surprised since I hear you have to recalibrate after a while but this is still on after years. Be sure to set it up properly and you can be confident it’s correct.

It's an average hygrometer.

I purchased 3 of these hygrometer. Nice looking gauges. Placed all 3 in an enclosed sealed airtight box with a higher quality digital hygrometer. After 2 days, all 3 gauge hygrometers had different readings. Variations between 2 to 5% points (which is not real bad for cheap sticks), with only 1 close to the digital hygrometer. In back of each gauge, there's a hole with screw which when turned can move dial. So with this, I adjusted all 3 to same reading. Did not help - After another 2 days, all readings were still inconsistent.

Looked pretty nice but unfortunately never got to use it. Broken sometime before arrival.
