How well do these covers handle windy days?

We had 40-50 mph winds, still standing! If the leg are anchored more permanently than the pegs supplied and the corners are tethered it can take the winds. The hook that holds the corner covers did rip, so we use bungees to hold in place.

Can this withhold michigan winters ? Want to use it as a wood shed

I don't know Michigan winters I live in Colorado. At my home (I was going to use it to store hay) It was done in the first big wind/snow. My daughter has one at her house in the mountains as a carport. Her house protects it quite a bit from the wind. Seems to do ok with the snow. She replaces the top every other year. Hope this helps.

What is the average life expectancy of the cover?

Dear customer, the life expectancy of the cover depends on how often you use this car shelter and when you use it. Anyway, i think there is no need to worry it, because we provide 1 year warranty for the Canopy Cover. Even out of warranty, if you need spare cover, you can also contact us directly. If we have spare covers, we can sell it to you and we only charge some material fee and shipping fee for it. Welcome to place your order!
