I was taking a tray of cookies out of a 375 degree oven and the heat came right through!! Additionally, since the product said you could peel garlic with it I did. Well the garlic smell permeated the product and could not be washed off. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS PRODUCT TO ANYONE.

These pot holders are pretty useless. I can feel the heat through them, especially through the raised parts. I do not recommend and would not buy again.

I burned my fingers using this holder so I am not impressed. I would not buy again

These were great silicone pot holders. The only negative thing is that I wish they were a little bit bigger. Overall they work as advertised. I received this product at a discounted rate in exchange for my honest review.Update 9/24/15: After using these for awhile now I have found a few new negatives thus bringing the rating down a couple of star. The negative about them being too small still stands, that drives me nuts that if they were just a bit bigger I would find them more convenient to use as a trivet. I find myself having to use both of them together as a trivet. The problem with that is they are super slippery so once I put the pan down one is already trying to escape. Speaking of being slippery.....some people said you could use them to open a jar......really not sure how because I tried it and my husband tried it.......it is just too slippery to get a good grip on any bottle. Also because they are small you can't really grab thicker pans out of the oven without burning yourself. Speaking of burning yourself, these do not do well when pulling any hot pans out of the oven........unless you are super speedy, you will feel the heat through them very quickly.Ok so one positive is they have held up well and so far I haven't melted them.
